The two hooks that hold the string work much better than the original separate hooked cocker that crossbow came with. No messing around getting them both aligned etc. hooks are always together.

I shredded multiple ropes with the side hooks decocking my crossbow. This design works so much better!

The end piece that attaches to the bow string is to narrow. When pulled back it hits both sides of the safety and won't latch.

Loved the 36" rope length, strength is 250 # and under and the sled designs is universally designed to fit most bows, tested on the CP Hellion crossbow and it functional. Many Blessing to the off brand businesses and I will buy a second one!!

Does not work with Centerpoint Sniper 390 as previous review pointed out. Frankly, I'm not sure how it works with any bow that has a tight arrow retention point. Most cockers have pulleys to either side of the flight rail leaving the bow string exposed on top to the trigger mechanism. The plastic piece on this cocker that goes over the bow string pulls straight up the top of the flight rail and interferes with the arrow retention spring and trigger mechanism and is very hard/dangerous to disengage from the bow string once it is cocked. Back to Amazon it goes.

I should preface this by saying I should have researched this company more before trusting it to any dangerous activity. That said this only lasted three times before it exploded, almost impaling my daughter and dry firing my Xbow. This might work on low powered crossbows idk.It may have scared my little girl away from archery, ruined my serving and I need to go ice my hand now.

When I bought my Barnett C6 Wildcat crossbow many moons ago, I at first thought I'd made a big mistake. An old middle aged guy like me grappled with the notion of how to cock this unwieldy piece of hardware! Ok, so it can be done....brute pulling strength will cock a 125 pound draw weight, but my back suffered the most (whilst not wearing a compression aid!). After buying a cocking rope aid from Anglo Arms, the problems didn't end. Not being a "cocking sled" like the Nika, the back draw was anything but smooth. The rope scuffed against the bow's side leaving some minor marks too. Researched the entire notion and saw the cocking sled rope by Nika, so decided to give it a go....nothing ventured, nothing gained eh! Tried it and it works. No slipping or sliding on the draw string. Perfect cord string length, and a good "built to last" feel about everything. Rope also stays in line with the bow's rail so no scratching! A very good product. I would recommend it for all crossbow users.
