I initially envisioned this item as one which would provide long focus closeups -- as if, in the old days, one put an extension bellows on a telephoto lens used with a 35mm single-lens reflex, and used it to take enlarged photos of small objects (eg insects) with the objective lens a good many inches from the target.That is NOT what this attachment does. However, it allows extreme closeups, taken with the objective lens very, very near to the target.

I found it difficult to get screwed onto my Nikon P610. It didn't do much to help my Camera with Macro shots. Too pricey for what I got & it's not a simple return policy if you don't like it, but they don't tell you than until you already have it.

Very good I have some wonderful results with this lens. Just one down side you have to make sure it has clicked well onto the camera or it falls off easily.
