They really should pull the folding language from this title and ad. Looking at the pictures though it s pretty obvious its not going to fold. It is easily removeable though to put on when needed and pull off if you only want it in when needed.It is nice and stable on my Nissan Armada I can step on it and easily reach my roof rack. Note it does include a hitch pin, but I immediately replaced it with a locking one as hitch accessories disappearing in my area is not uncommon. The texture on it is grippy and the holes are raised so they bite into shoes preventing slippage. Not super comfortable for bare feet, but its not terrible either.Overall a great step for the price I expect it will last at least a decade, but will report back if it fails.

POSITIVES:-Nice, attractive addition that enhances the appearance of your pickup-Easy to install-Useful as an additional step-Has 4 mounting holes to mount it close or extend it from the bumper to your likingNOT SO MUCH:-Fairly thin gauge metal, strong enough for the job, but I fear will corrode in a relatively short time-It rattles in the receiver
