I wasn't sure if these would work to keep my CarPlay device in place on my dashboard. The reason I wasn't sure is because my CarPlay device about three or 4 inches tall and needs to be upright on its small edge for me to see it. I was very surprised, pleasantly surprised, that the mat does keep the CarPlay from sliding along the dashboard and keeps everything solidly in place perfectly. This is because the CarPlay that I have has a longer holder on the back (to hold it upright) and that gives more surface area. for the mat to stabilize my device. This did exactly what I wanted it to do and I'm extremely happy with it. It's great because it is temporary so even though the CarPlay device sticks securely to the mat, before I leave my car, I take the CarPlay off the dashboard and put it away so people can't see it walking past a car when I'm not in the car/it's parked. I just put it back up there when I get in the car. It's sticky enough to keep it from sliding around but it's not so sticky that it's hard to move remove it and put the device (or the mat too) away when you want.Excellent product.

I ordered this item creatively thinking to use the pads under a car top carrier to keep it from slipping and scratching the roof of my car. Well, they just didn't adhere well, and kept falling off. Maybe it was the summer heat or the vibration...Lesson learned: not for outdoor use. Also, the "mini suction cups" are actually tiny raised flat hexagons, not concave. However, I washed them in lukewarm water, and they dried just as sticky as when they were new, so now I am using them as advertised in the car for my mobile phone (working well), and on my laminate floor under some rug corners that keep curling up. (Also working well.) They really seem pretty useful for a number of household uses, so if you want some things sort of attached that don't vibrate or move much and don't mar a surface, these should work.UPDATE: after a few days the rug corners started curling up again - don't use them for this!

I have to admit I was skeptical of this product, but I'm pleasantly surprised. This thing hasn't moved and when I've put stuff on it it holds well. I even threw my sunglasses on the dash & they never moved. Pretty impressed with this product.

These are good for multiple uses but definitely great for autos.Definitely sticky even the top side without leaving items sticky.Ease of use.Good value.Highly recommend.

It’s amazing how many ways we need to have a way to keep something from shifting or slipping. Well, these sticky mats does just that in the best possible way! I used to use Velcro but that turned out not as good for certain things to hold. With the sticky mats, they do not cause any damage when applying it to the surface or to the item sticking on top of it. The sticky mats does hold just well enough to hold something but not too strong if a hold.

This sticky pad is SO easy to use, and it works great to keep my ducks in a row (lol) on the dash of my Jeep. They just stay put, with no adhesive required.I'll also be using one on the armrest of my car to keep my phone handy, but safe.I would gladly pay this price for just one of these pads, but three are included, and I think that's a wonderful value.I've had one on my dash during some high-heat days, and there has been no damage to the dash (have removed it to check) nor any residue left behind.Would make a very useful gift for anyone who travels for their job.No instructions were included; the flat, stickier side goes against the dash, with the "imprinted" side up.

I never like to glue things on my car's dashboard. It destroy the dashboard. But I think this non-stick pad is exactly what I needed! It has sticky silicon surface that holds the dashboard, but its not glue. It holds items securely in place while driving without sliding around, even on bumpy roads. I am using to hold napkin box.I am yet to explore how good it remain in a state with intense Sunlight. I will still highly recommend for anyone looking for a similar solution!
