Used it for winching a downed tree to a more accessible site to cut it up. Worked like a champ. The strap is sturdy and tight. I wasn't sure about using the knotted ropes instead of D-Rings, but they work great as well.

I am very happy with the offroad recovery kit. I actually got to use it to retrieve a wayward ride on mower that rolled down a hill and was stuck. Worked great!
