I stumbled across this product, and I decided it might be just what I needed for my favorite reading chair. I figured either the bamboo or acacia wood would work, but wasn't sure which I would like better. So I ordered both. The acacia version arrived first and was a disappointment. The pattern and colors on the one I received didn't look nice, not at all like the pics I saw in other people's reviews. Some of theirs were very pretty, and I would have been happy with them. The one I received looked blotchy and weird and rustic, and not in a good way. And the wood was a bit rough, should have been finish-sanded, and the sealer didn't absorb evenly into the wood. I figured if I kept it, it would just bug me every time I looked at it or used it, because it was ugly. The bamboo version was a complete contrast. Uniformly light color, even grain, and the sealer was uniform. So what I noticed when I looked at it was not the ugly wood grain, but how perfect it was in design and function. Somebody really thought through the design and function very very well, and then made sure it was manufactured to high quality standards. I have been playing with it, deciding how I want to use it, and just enjoying how well it is made. I read kindle books on my phone in the evening, and the holder fits my phone case perfectly. I can adjust it so that it is most comfortable for me given the light in the room at the time. The silicone pad gripper is a nice addition, as is the cutout at the bottom so that I can reach my screen controls. The tray is a great size, and holds a shallow pasta bowl or salad plate, which is all I need for snacks. The only thing I can't use is the drink holder, because it is too small for the luminarc working glasses which are my fave, or my coffee mugs. I can use it for odds and ends like lip balm. But I'm still giving it 5 stars because I have a chest of drawers next to the chair which holds my drink just fine. So all in all, I'm very surprised and pleased. I didn't expect it to be this nice. The bamboo wood is a bit lighter than I would like, but it doesn't bug me. The acacia would have really bugged me. The grain on the one I received was just too variable and funky and rustic for my tastes. Who needs an eyesore?

This tray is exactly what I hoped it would be. The wood is beautiful and the tray itself is very well made. The cup holder and phone holder were very easy to install and they move in a full circle so smoothly. It is a large tray, but there is still plenty of room for me to rest my arm on the arm rest behind the tray. I didn't need a tray that was even an inch smaller; I needed exactly what this tray provided. I highly recommend it.

This was a pricier option compared to others on Amazon but it paid off. It doesn't feel cheap in the least! Its a weighty and well made slab of wood and acacia always looks aesthetically pleasing. The cup and phone holders swivel which was a nice touch, they're easily secured to the tray and removable if needed. Everything feels sturdy and, because of the weight of the tray, sat securely on the armrest. For reference, these are 4" wide armrests. The tray and arms also are covered with grips to protect your couch and prevent it from sliding around. As you can see, there's nothing else on the tray except a full stanley cup, which are very heavy, and ive had no problem with tipping or movement. Stays right in place! Would definitely get another for the other side of the couch.

If you get a good one, these look beautiful and work perfectly. Plenty of space for remotes, your cup, phone, etc. It fits Stanley and Yeti cups. I even took an old cork coaster, cut it down and put it in the cup holder. We got 2 of these and the 2nd one had a very poor finish. They replaced it promptly but the 3rd one we got also had a blemished finish. Not horrible, so we just kept it.

I never leave reviews but the second I set this up, I knew I had to. This thing is fantastic. We bought a new couch and didn’t leave much room for a side table on my end. It fits perfectly on the arm of the couch. I love that I now have a cup holder and phone holder right next to me. The quality is really nice for the price you pay. If you’re hesitating, don’t. Worth the money.

I really like the look and feel of this item. It is very versatile and has more space than I thought it would from the pictures I saw. It is also very easy to put together and easy to put on the arm of a couch or chair. The hinges are very tight, so watch the fingers! They snap back very hard and fast when you are checking it out to make sure they work.About the sturdiness, the review videos I saw shows it to be very sturdy, I cannot say the same thing, completely. It is sturdy on the couch, but I have a very soft cover on my couch, so now and then I have to tip it a bit to keep it flat. So, keep that in mind if you have a cover on your couch or chair. The item itself is very solid and very sturdy.The color is great, but I prefer color to be more consistent and uniform throughout. Mine is darker in some places and lighter in other and not as pretty as others I have seen in previous reviews. With that said, it is a beautiful tray.I love it and plan to buy another for the other arm of my couch soon.

Love the tray! Well made from beautiful acacia wood. Sits very sturdy on loveseat arm. The coffee mug I use does not fit the holder but it is not a problem to use the tray without the holder. The spring-loaded arms hold the tray securely but also make easy to remove. Definitely recommend!!

I love this thing. The cupholder isn't for giant ceramic mugs but it works great for my insulated travel tumblers or even for the bottle of toner I am putting on my skin while doing my skincare routine. This little table is steady, versatile and the wood is super-pretty!
