Pretty Girl, the outdoor stray cat we have been feeding since June, immediately started kneading this self-warming pad once I put it in her wooden cat house that my husband built her. I ordered thesmall size, but it was adequate. It's not very thick, yet offers comfort. The noise level was perfect - no crinkle. There was no chemical smell. Regarding the self-heating function, I tested it by holding it against my hands & it seemed to warm up. Once Pretty Girl started kneading & laying on it, she didn't want to move so I can't tell if it heated up. I just know she seems to love it. We use the self-heating pad on top of a Snuggledisc from Amazon, plus heated rice bags. It helped keep Pretty Girl in 15-20 degree weather. It was an awesome purchase!

I don’t usually leave a review but I was so surprised by this product I felt like someone else would like to know, it works! I have a 13 year old Yorkichon who LOVES it. He loves to lay on a heating pad but since he sleeps in the bed with me that’s difficult. I got him this heating mat with little expectation of it actually working. It works! He stays so warm and absolutely loves it. He sleeps so much better at night now! If you have a little one, get it. The pad is much longer than I expected too. Soft, great quality, and it works.

I ordered 2 for our outside cats. The mats are large and a bit fluffy and our cats took right to them. Between them, some straw and a heat lamp 8 kitties have fairly comfortably survived subzero nighttime temperatures. Haven't had to wash them yet but hoping that goes well.

My cats take turns on who gets to use this. I probably need a couple more. If I move it they find it. Good for winter. Easy to wash and they love it. It’s not as soft as I thought it would be but they don’t seem to care lol

Bought this for my 15 year old husky who is stubborn when it comes to laying in places that bring heat. It’s a great size. Very thin - but that’s what she prefers. It was a great addition to our camper in that it didn’t make noise when she wanted to reposition herself. My only complaint is that it didn’t withstand an accident. Thought the outside is washable, it isn’t waterproof or resistant so the inside was ruined when she had an accident.

We used this to help our crate trained puppies travel comfortably on cold days. We tried it in the home first as part of their indoor bed. One liked it, the other didn't.It does have a crinkle noise, but both eventually liked cuddling on it when they wanted to get warm. Works well for our needs.

My dog does like this if she can't get under my covers. A very good deal too. I do recommend this self heating pad because it keeps the chill off my little dogs!

This size is really small. Maybe for a tiny baby kitten. It looks like a small pillow case. The thermal thing inside is paper thin. The entire product is thin and doesn’t look like good quality. I am surprised by all the good reviews. Another thing that I was extremely disappointed by is that I requested a REFUND not an another product. I returned the product, and I thought they were going to refund. My reason for return was poor quality. Unless they’re sending me an entire new product that is better I won’t be satisfied. Very disappointed by this. I have never have had that happen to me. Spend the extra money for your pet and don’t even bother with this thing, whatever it is
