Hands down best lighted nocks. I use them in my daily arrows. Love them. Some have lasted over a year. I get at least 3 months of almost daily usage. She me last longer than 6.

I bought the DTA NockTurnal lighted nocks(red) after reading some other reviews about them. They work flawlessly every time, and the red is super easy to see in flight and on impact. I had a friend that has the luma nocks and watch him fight with them to work, sometimes they work fine, sometimes they don't. These DTA nocks work every time with no hassle! The only draw back is that you need a knife to reset the contact for the nock light, but it is easy to do. And your nock stays lit until you retrieve it. My bow shoots at 255 fps and my arrows were unaffected out to 50 yds by the added weight of this nock(they are only 20 gr each). I will use these on all of my hunting arrows from now on... simply revolutionized the modern hunting arrow! Every bow hunter should use these. Awesome!!! A+ and 5 stars!

I’ve read some other reviews that said these knocks were unreliable. I bout 6 (2 - 3 packs). Six out of six worked perfectly. Tonight I shot the biggest buck of my life. Didn’t make a great shot, but a fatal one. Lost blood when he went into a cut bean field. About the time we were going to give up, we saw it. That beautiful red glow. Really really bright. Thankfully the arrow stayed in him, and the knock kept glowing, even after he crashed through a lot of brush. Without this knock I would have given up, and lost the buck of a lifetime. Highly recommend!!

Very bright and very long-lasting battery. Very bright even in full light. Red seems to be the best color for visibility. Reliable deployment. The shut-off switch is accessed by a small port on one side of the nock base. It would make sense to put a port on each side. You do need a pointed object to turn the nock off -- in a hunting situation I usually use the tip of a Muzzy broad head, but there are certainly safer alternatives. Of all the lighted nocks I have used, the Nockturnal is clearly the best. Don't expect shooting a lighted nock to help you determine where the arrow enters the deer. On a pass-through, you just see a continuous stream of light ending on the ground, while the deer bounds away, and at least my eyes and brain can't tell where the arrow hits. If the arrow does not pass through, you see the nock going through the woods but you still don't know exactly where the shaft enters the deer. Lighted nocks have a very high "cool" factor and they are almost worth it just for that. What they DO incredibly well is help you find your arrow after the shot. This can save a lot of time and give you valuable and immediate information about the hit -- or miss.Lighted nocks weigh more than conventional nocks, so there is a chance that your impact point or flight characteristics may change, especially if you shoot a very high speed or otherwise finicky setup. Check that out before taking lighted nocks to the woods.

Bought 2 brand new packs of the nocturnal G in red. Installed on my arrows and only 4 of the 6 worked. Contacted customer service and was sent a link and a complicated process to return the broken product. I have luck in the past with nocturnal but after this I’ll probably be taking my business elsewhere. Trash!!!

Great price. I started using lumenok lighted nocks this season and they have been a huge part to my successful track/harvests. I decided to compare the nockturnal brand and here is how I think they stack up.Price: Nockturnal winsOn/off Mechanism: I prefer the lumenok, because sticking the tip of a knife in a small hole covered in blood is much more difficult than pulling the nock out a tad.Brightness: compared against the pink lumenok it makes the lumenok look like a beacon from a lighthouse. The picture doesn't do justice. Lumenok (left) Nockturnal (right).Fit: lumenok I think are too tight, Nockturnal are a much better fit in my bloodsport arrows. In summary, pay $7-10 and get the lumenok. I stuck one in a buck quartering away just after sundown this season. The shot was a bit far back on the deer. All I could see was the arrow glowing towards the rump of the deer. Not thinking, I forgot my angle and worried I stuck it square in the rump and it would never go down. The buck stood for awhile and even moved about 200 yards very slowly. I watched the light for about 3.5 hours and only lost it for couple seconds when he went behind trees. I was hunting thick woods too. I realize the intended use is for a through arrow shot where the arrow is left sticking in the dirt inside 40 yards from the foot of your tree, but that's not always the case. So go brighter and go out there and get ya some meat!
