I got this for a special Mustang that is not a daily driver. I was disappointed when I found the battery was dead. I was going to just replace the battery but decided to give this a try. Super simple, and after a full night, the battery was charged and good to go. I have since put it back on periodically and it keeps the battery charged and ready to go.

I have two vehicles. One is all wheel drive and unfortunately my Nissan Xterra is only rear wheel drive because I bought it in Sunny California where you don't need four-wheel drive for snowy weather but then moved back to a four Season City and therefore I have to store my Xterra in the garage in winter because it doesn't handle well with all the snow that we get. This little maintenance device is perfect for this situation as it keeps my battery completely charged ready to go and safely. I plug it in and walk away and it can sit for weeks on end but I do go out once a week and unplug it and start the vehicle and shift the gears and drive it a few feet in each direction to keep the tires nice and round and not create flat spots but this has kept my battery 100% maintained so I don't have to worry about having to charge it or get a jump and all that once I go out to start it after sitting for several weeks at a time in between startups. It's been perfect I highly recommend getting oneafter a couple months of PacificNE Winter this has kept my winter-stired vehicle battery totally topped off and ready I started it up after a few weeks and it started immediately as if I'd just driven it. It's not a charger per se but will trickle charge. It's meant to KEEP the battery charged after driving the vehicle, then keeping it topped off and ready This does exactly that Plug it in and connect and gently close the hood and walk away and battery can sit there for months if need be wit me no way if over charging or fire etc Small but very informative and storming! well made. Get one!!!

I am thoroughly impressed with this little powerhouse! I needed something to charge up the battery on my generator and this worked flawlessly.This is a high quality charger with easy mode switching and super simple to use. I was worried that I did not get one with enough amperage, but this charged up my generator battery enough to power it on after about an hour.I have not yet needed to hook it up to a larger battery such as a car, but for a generator battery or something similar, this charger easily handles the task and isn't overly expensive for what you're getting.

5 year long term reviewgoing through my archived orders i came across thisbought this charger 5 years ago to use as a trickle charger for my camper batteries, it has been hooked up to those batteries constantly except for the weekends we are out camping, meaning it has seen almost 100% usage since i purchased it and it still works like a charmmy camper is stored outside so the charger sees 100 degree temps in the summer and -20 in the winter and has performed great in every conditionvery happy with this charger and would buy again anytime, great value for the money

I use this on my UTV, motorcycle, and lawnmower. Works great and I love the small foot print. The one thing I would change is to make the clips smaller so it can fit on the battery post better. I had to remove the cables on my motorcycle to use this.

My wife has a 2020 Honda Civic tour and sometimes it might sit for two weeks before she drives it. With all the electronics in these new cars her car battery will be dead. I have had this charger for couple of weeks and keep it hooked up. Works great! This also keeps the battery charged and healthy.

The smart features in this device are fantastic, I can take this from being a battery tender on my motorcycle while it's in storage, to a fully functional charger on my car, to a battery reconditioned (desulfation) on my deep cycle RV battery, then back to battery tender on the motorcycle. It's a "does it all" device... I actually own 3 of these now (keep one on my truck as a battery tender in the winter so never coming out to a dead battery due to the cold, one on my motorcycle as a battery tender while it's in storage, and one on my RV battery to keep it in top condition... On the rare occasion my wife's Prius battery goes dead, with the X Connect system, I can quickly unplug it from the motorcycle and put in the cable clamps to charge the Prius 12v battery. In event of power failure, it starts back up in the same battery mode it was in, so no worries using it with AGM or Lithium batteries. Highly recommended.

Packaging is awesome, just like an Apple product! Device is simple and works very well. Practiced on a 25 HP lawn tractor first, cycled through it all them went to maintenance mode. Then on the high end car that's no driven ofter, same results. Only dislike, instructions are small, hard to read. Suggest YouTube to understand the icons on the charger. Great price, feel confident.UPDATE: NOCO support User manual is now online and is good, received a reply after complaining.

Had one for my motorcycle for a LiFePO4 battery and worked great vs Motomaster 3A that eats batteries. Bought another one for the boat's Deep Cycle as again had issues with the Motomaster one and paid way less on Amazon than I did the other one. I can leave it on the battery even when it's not charging, and it doesn't draw amps. The Motomaster one would drain the amps preventing it to crank if I left it on. Will probably buy 2 more in a near future for the other toys.

Hay mucho que considerar al cargar una baterÃa de auto, éste cargador es ideal para varios escenarios. Lo compré pues muchos autos nuevos con baterÃas AGM no deben ser cargados con un cargador que no diga expresamente ser para AGM, de otra forma puede acortar su vida.Este cargador puede usarse con baterÃas regulares de plomo-acido, AGM, litio y hasta de 6V. Tiene indicadores para polaridad invertida, baterÃa dañada, además de nivel de carga en 4 niveles. En ésta versión de 2 amperes (Noco Genius 2) una baterÃa que marque el primer nivel puede tomar mas de un dÃa en cargar, pero lo hará extendiendo lo mas posible la vida de la misma.Para autos que no se utilizan mucho, es indispensable un cargador como éste, de lo contrario la baterÃa se puede dañar por la falta de carga, asà se arranque el motor cada mes, pues no es suficiente, particularmente para las de plomo-acido. Incluso autos que solo se usan para trayectos cortos dos o tres veces por semana, la carga que obtienen no es suficiente y terminan descargandose y dañandose si no se hace algo al respecto.Por el tipo de carga que generan éstos cargadores, se pueden recuperar hasta cierto punto baterÃas que ya fueron indebidamente descargadas mas allá de lo recomendado. Las AGM son las que pueden resistir mas, una de plomo tal vez no se recupere al 100% pero se puede extender un poco su vida. El hecho de que cargue lentamente es precisamente para extender la vida de las baterÃas y mantener cargadas las que no se usan. Si requieres un arrancador o una carga rápida, ésto no es el producto que necesitas. Las cargas rápidas terminan disminuyendo la vida útil de cualquier baterÃa.Es un producto excelente para museos y colecciones de autos, garantizando que autos sin mucho uso estén siempre listos y que las baterÃas no pierdan su vida útil. Se puede comprar el accesorio para conectar permanentemente a la baterÃa y dejar el conector tapado pero accesible para rotar el mismo cargador entre varios autos, dejandolo un par de dÃas en cada auto.Yo lo compré para un auto que casi no uso y como tiene baterÃa AGM, no podÃa usar mi cargador/mantenedor viejo. Lo recomiendo bastante, luego de una carga se puede desconectar y permanecer meses sin usar y arranca a la primera, aunque lo ideal es dejarlo siempre conectado si es posible. Cuando ya está cargada, se mantiene en modo de espera.
