Just got the fan was on backorder for two weeks and so far very happy with it; I needed a 5V fan powered off USB, and this has both. Quiet as any other Noctua fan while performing very well. Use it to cool my Vive Wireless VR adapter that overheats after 30 minutes of use normally. The cable quality is excellent got a rubber sheath and heat shrink molding, though this is also a complaint as outlined below. Will likely buy one or two more soon to replace the aging (and loud) fans for networking appliances.Saw some reviews comment on excessive packaging, well this package is much more environmentally conscious, no huge plastic holders to all the different parts, just a cardstock box and fan holder. Not really negatives but if Noctua is looking for feedback, been replacing new computer builds with the Chromax black version, so hopefully Noctua can make these in black one day. I don't really need my fans to stand out; they just need to their job. My only real gripe is the cable is fixed length; since it's a small fan it's likely use in limited space environments that don't need such a long rubber sheathed cable. All my newer Noctua 12V computer fans come with a short connect on the fan and then few extension choices, this one is a fixed 30 cm cable.

I love Noctua fans! They are super quiet and push a lot of air. They’re definitely worth the price. I bought this one for my RetroPie setup with Raspberry Pi3B and it works perfectly. Since I got a pwm version of the fan I wrote a python code that can control rpms depending on CPU temperature. Now my Raspberry Pi stays super cool when I play retro games! I have several Noctua fans in my different setups and I must tell you they’re worth every penny and it’s been several years and they’re going strong.

This Noctua fan moves a lot of air, and is quiet for its size while doing so. The included USB power cable is extremely useful and can be plugged into a USB fan governor for manual fan speed control. After being unimpressed with laptop cooling solutions, using these fans with a cheap plastic laptop stand gave my gaming laptop better airflow than any of the all-in-one solutions ever could.

I added this to the top of my Gigabyte router that would always stay warm to the touch. Now the sides of the router feel cooler than room temperature and from 6ft away I can barely hear the fan when the room is completely quiet. It has been running nonstop for a month with no issues.

I'm bizarrely obsessed with the noise fans of every size make. This is, in fairness, very quiet indeed, so I really shouldn't complain that I can still hear it across the room. But it does the job, it's USB powered, and I like it.

I used this to replace the control board fan in a Bambu X1C 3D printer - the stock fan is of poor quality and becomes noisy, with many users experiencing this. (I do expect Bambu to change suppliers.) This fan fits where the stock fan does, but requires that you splice the original connector to the Noctua cable. This is where it gets annoying. The so-called "OmniJoin" is just a set of four pushbutton splice connectors. You have to cut off the Noctua connector and splice the individual wires to those from the original connector. The leads must be stripped, and you have only one chance to use the splice button to connect them. I gave up and soldered the leads.Noctua fans don't move a lot of air, but they are quiet. For this application, the fan was fine.

The extensive documentation printed on the box and the enclosed booklet tell you everything except for the pinout of the fan. I finally found the information I needed on their web site. FYI: black is ground, white is +5V, blue is tach feedback, and green is the PWM input to the fan. It runs smooth and quiet at 25%, 50%, and 75% duty cycles using 1000 Hz PWM frequency, which are the only duty cycles I tried. I mounted it in a Raspberry Pi 4 case, powered it from the +5V and ground pins, and did the PWM with a GPIO pin, all through Python. I have a couple of these on Raspberry Pi 4's and they work real well.

I got this as a fan for a OrangePi 5. Wanted something I could hardly hear after hearing all the OPi users complaining about fans being noisy. I was not disappointed!Even at full speed this can barely be heard. I had to physically look at the box 2m away from me to see if my script was starting the fan.The included accessories and information comes in a very well presented box. Everything you could possibly need for a variety of use cases from simple extensions to splicing blocks. Everything nicely explained in an included foldout.I'm seriously considering replacing all my computer fans with Noctua now. If they put this much effort in to a tiny fan, I trust they'll deliver the goods for a bigger fan too.

Es mucho más silencioso que el ventilador que sustituà con este además de que con el kit de adaptador incluido es fácil adaptar la conexión de la mayorÃa de los dispositivos . No
