This was a present for our daughter so she could make her own peg dolls as a craft. They color really well with paint markers. She still plays with these a year later, so they have help up as well as you would expect something wooden to.

These are great and made for a perfect middle school art lesson. I used them to teach about Kokeshi Dolls and had the students make their own. Teaching both cultural history, fine motor skills, symbolism, and pattern use. The students retained the lesson well so I am hoping these stay affordable so I can do the lesson next year.

My children love to pull these out and design them with Posca acrylic paint markers and even sometimes making “clothes†for them with pipe cleaners. I will keep buying these, as they are always good to have in the house. The case is nice to have as well.
