This is a good sized deep diving lure that I shucked out good money for. This lure has not seen water yet, but when it does I have high expectations for it and I pray to God that I do not get cut or broken off.

If it tracks well (haven’t used yet) then great but never know some don’t right outta the boxUsually only good for 1 large pelagic cause if any damage to lip or if it takes on water it’s toast and toss it outSmaller fish it will hold up to. Hooks are top notch BKK I believe unsure of split ring strength/brand

Forget everything I said below. It's true, but only for the first lure. When I ran the second identical lure it ran straight and true for about 30 minutes, then it was full of water and would no longer track. It's a $35 paper weight now, like another reviewer said, and it was too late to return it. Not sure the return would have worked anyway. A friend returned one of his Nomads that filled with water and he never received anything.And I love the hooks. I kept track, and in the last two trips I had 22 wahoo hook-ups on these lures and only had a single shake-off, and that was well before the fish got to the boat. Often with wahoo and swimming lures that percentage approaches 50%. This because the lures have so much mass in the fish's mouth (as opposed to skirted lures where normally only the hook is with the fish) that the fish can shake his head and use the inertia of the lure to unhook himself. Also, these hooks are so strong that we leadered every fish into the boat up to 19 lbs. Had we hooked any approaching 30 lbs I would have used a gaff. For sure these big hooks aren't going to break, but a tear-out could be more likely.

I bought this lure brand new a few days ago, and I was excited when it arrived because I have an offshore trip in a few days. However, when I opened the package, I saw a rusted and beaten up lure that was clearly used before I bought it. However, it’s a good lure so that saves it from 1 star

Lure caught one fish and would not track above 5 knots noticed cracks above lip to above eyes..
