I upgraded to this unit from a chapon Chinese compressor bought off some other Amazon store. You know the names- the ones that are total gibberish and disappear a week later? This new one is a MASSIVE upgrade to that thing, and totally worth the higher price.First, if you don't have a compressor with a tank, you should get one. Period. Full stop. It will be quieter and your airflow will be more stable.Secondly, I love the gauge on this. It's set up to make it easy to narrowly dial in lower PSI like what I use for my model painting (10-20 depending on paint type) with ease. The built in moisture trap is a must have.

I recently purchased the NO-Name Quiet Compressor for Airbrush with Air Tank Model Tooty, and I am thoroughly impressed! This compressor has exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, it's incredibly quiet. I can use it in my small apartment without disturbing my neighbors or even my own family in the next room. The noise level is so low that I can comfortably have a conversation while it's running. The air tank is a game-changer. It provides a steady and consistent flow of air, which is essential for detailed airbrush work. No more sputtering or inconsistent pressure – just a smooth, uninterrupted stream of air that makes my projects look professional.Setup was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and I had everything up and running in no time. The build quality is impressive; it feels sturdy and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last for years. One of the best features is the auto shut-off function. It not only conserves energy but also prolongs the life of the compressor. I can focus on my work without worrying about turning it off manually every time I take a break.Overall, the NO-Name Quiet Compressor for Airbrush with Air Tank Model Tooty is an outstanding product. It's quiet, efficient, and reliable. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this compressor is a fantastic addition to your toolkit. Highly recommended!

This is a great compressor. One thing though, it wasn't clear to me that you have to pull up until you hear a click on the pressure gauge change dial. Then you can easily turn left to decrease pressure or right to increase pressure then click it back down when you have the PSI dialed in correctly for the current paint being used. I found it very quiet and having the tank is the only way to go to have consistent pressure and it is mostly silent while painting with the occasional and quick refill of the tank. Great price and very sturdy construction. I doubt I will ever need another compressor no matter how far I go in the miniature painting hobby. Love it.

My aging airbrush air compressor was on the verge of dying on me so I found this one on the Spraygunner page and, after checking it out in person at a recent convention, decided to buy it. It exceeds my needs and provides plenty of air for my Harder-Steenbeck and Badger airbrushes. It's much quieter than my old compressor and the large tank cuts down on the amount of time needed to have enough air for a paint session. The compressor tank holds the air at pressure for at least three days, which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend this to other scale modelers looking for a quality, dependable product.

This is my first air compressor for use with my air brush. It arrived well packed with no damage, no issues. There was no assembly, and it started up with no problems, no leaks. Seems like a well made compressor to me. I have used it once for a model I was building, and the tank is a nice feature as it kicks on only to keep the tank topped off. I bought this particular model because of the good reviews about it. Also because of the features it had that I wanted in an air compressor.I bought a quick connect adapter for it so that detaching and attaching the airbrush was quick and easy without losing the air in the tank.I can highly recommend it for home hobby use.

The TC-40T was a nice looking lightweight unit with a great price but mine had a loose pipe joint between the tank and regulator assembly. Looks like the manufacturer applied some kind of hardening compound to make up for the loose fittings to seal the joint from leaking. Even screwing the regulator all the way into the tank nipple and using Teflon tape (which left the gauge and water separator upside down so unusable) the regulator assembly was still loose and leaking which left the compressor running continuously. After reading a fairly large number of other TC-40T reviewers experienced the same problem, I cancelled my request for a replacement unit and instead for a few dollars more ordered the "No-Name Tootie" compressor from Spray Gunner. The box had a "Tested By" sticker on the outside (which instilled confidence right away) and the minute I opened it, I instantly saw the build quality was superior along with the mechanical design and compressor-tank connections. After connecting my hose and brush I powered the unit up. In about a minute the tank was full and the compressor cycled off and there were no leaks what so ever. Using my airbrush the unit, including the secondary cylinder head pancake fan (nice), cycled on and off as appropriate. I have been using the unit for over a week without ever turning the power switch off. The tank remains completely full and at the ready without ever cycling between uses. Totally happy and I definitely made the right choice. Oh and the Tootie is not appreciably louder than the TC-40T at all. This unit is a pleasure to use.

Boy howdy let me tell ya something. This thing is fantastic. It's small, not super light so it doesn't bounce around. It runs way quieter than my other air compressor, which just baffles me. I run this in my workshop underneath my daughters room and you can't hear it with your ear pressed against the floor. It's a fantastic compressor for airbrushing and doesn't completely break the bank.
