We used it for hiking, it adjusts perfectly to my dog. He wears it when he is on and off leash and in both case, he has full freedom of movement. Meaning that his legs do not have any restrictions, other harnesses hold on his legs this one goes on his back and front.

We take our GSD Labrador mix on a lot of hikes and runs and she pulls HARD the ENTIRE time, so we needed something cushioned that would keep her comfortable yet strong enough so that the straps don't keep getting pulled loose and this is it! I can tell this will last for years, so well worth the money!

I have a 65 lb Husky. I was torn between a size 6 or 7 and opted for the 7. I like that her shoulders have plenty of clearance. The band is about an inch behind her armpit. The only thing I don’t really like is that when she’s sniffing the ground, it looks like it might be digging into her neck. However, she never wheezed or gave any other sign that it was choking her. The bottom, belly band is a bit long so I thought maybe it was pushing the neck portion up into her throat when she puts her head down, but it was sitting as far back/down as it can go. I felt around when she had her head down and it doesn’t seem like it’s putting any pressure on her throat. It otherwise fits really well when walking.

I have a graveyard of harnesses that my dog did not like. Every time I put her in a harness she would come home and rub all over the carpet to get the feeling of it off. This one is a game changer. She doesn’t shy away when she sees me pull it out. It’s lightweight, the buckles are not loud, and I can tell she’s comfortable bc she walks around as if she’s not on a leash. I know this one will last us a long time but I would buy it over and over again!

I have been searching for a harness that doesn’t rub underneath Squires leg and found it in this product! Fits great!

I have a pitbull mix who is a tough fit into every harness that exists. Between his 32" chest and 20" neck it is already a tall order...but add to that that he has very sensitive skin and very little coat that adds up to everything causing friction. He's a good boy who has his CGC and is usually a complete gentleman on a leash...but if he is very excited as we approach a favorite park etc he will pull. And I live in an icy area etc. Other settings I usually like to have a front clip option just in case...farmer's market that is crowded so maybe he wants to jump up at the cheese table or maybe a lunging dog appears out of nowhere? Or a child with an outstretched snack? Would he jump at these things? Historically no...but I have not liked the back clip on most harnesses for feeling like they have a reasonable response before all stretch in materials was met... but the line 5.0 performs in those situations too. I haven't even tried the front clip on this harness becasue the level of control is so great from the rear clip. And control is important for safety etc...no running after a cat into the street. But even more important to me is that it doesn't cause orthopedic injury or joint restriction. This harness doesn't obstruct the shoulders AT ALL and it is SO LIGHTWEIGHT but also strong and durable. Also I would not have picked orange for my black and white guy -- bc in the sun bright colors can blow out my contrast on photos but it was the only option available on Amazon....and I didn't want to have to returne to the company (their policy is great it was a me thing) if it didn't fit like most other harnesses I have tried. But it fit perfectly! And somehow also stays pretty clean looking despite his best efforts. I haven't had to wash it yet.Really high quality material and really well designed. I love that it doesn't move or twist on him in any situation. Also I always let him choose which harness or collar he wears (usually between two options) and since buying this he ALWAYS picks this harness. So all the money on other harnesses were a waste in comparison. So the price is totally justified. We have had this for two months now and I can't wait for hiim to get to use it in the summer. He overheats so easily that every harness is 😩 to him and I think this one will be a favorite for sure. (We usually do collar in the summer but if we are going somewhere he will drag a leash harness necessary for safety.)Oh yeah!! Also love that the leash doesn't wrap around his back leg with this harness or tangle at all. The design of this has considered everything and despite that already being great he seems to like the under body clip for the drag option as he feels more free zooming about if he has to have a drag line on in the location. Can't say enough good things about it. And I'm trying to talk myself out of buying 3 more on the sale on their website right now. I'm definitely buying at least 1, but they have a good holiday deal right now.

I've tried many dog harnesses but this one is so far the best. Its padded and not too much material that makes my dog uncomfortable. Its strong and the size I ordered according to the size chart fits just right.

This is our second of these harnesses from this manufacturer. The previous one had lasted years and had become just too tatty. We walk the dog on a long leash and this is a comfortable set up that allows him to explore. I'm not sure if the design has been tweaked but the new one doesn't quite fit him as well as the older one. He has a deep chest and, even with adjustment, it stands a little proud of his body on the top . Otherwise very recommended

Great harness and makes it super easy to grab the hound when needed, lift onto paddle board, over fence etc etc.

This is my second of these harnesses and it’s great on the whole but I’ve noticed it starting to fray really early on which is disappointing
