This is awesome for receiving GOES data as well as HRT from NOAA and Meteor. I use mine in conjunction with the L-band dish antenna also offered by NOOELEC.

Works great! I tried a general purpose amp but I couldn't get GOES 16. With this I get a very strong, stable signal.

I was apprehensive about purchasing this device after being disappointed with the perfomance of Nooelec's Distlll-FM and Distill-AM filter products. An antenna that passes DC can allow static into the input, blowing the MMIC. I now use a tee with a 100 nH wirewound inductor to DC- ground the input. Shunt-fed Yagis or insulated Parabolics are usually protected from this effect, but be careful with a discone or any antenna that has a direct connection to the coax center conductor. Otherwise they work well.

Essential for receiving GOES HRIT data. Install immediately after antenna feed in correct orientation and make sure it's powered (LED should be lit).

El producto ha llegado con algunas marcas de uso. La carcasa de aluminio tiene una ligera abolladura y arañazo y las letras están ligeramente borradas. Uno de las tornillos también tiene signos de estar un poco desgastado.Por lo demás, aun no he podido probarlo.
