Your cart is empty.Norcold's 638391 Thermistor Assembly is compatible with all Polar N7, N8 and N10 refrigerator models. A Thermistor senses the refrigerator's temperature inside the fresh food compartment and tells the fridge whether or not to turn on or off to reach the desired temperature. This Thermistor Assembly has a 4-prong connector that snaps into the light fixture at the light bracket for easy installation. The other end of the thermistor should be clipped onto the tenth fin from the right side. It is recommended to replace the clip as well. Refer to manufacturer recommendations to ensure proper fit and usage. Quick and easy installation.

My RV's freezer compartment was working fine (on both the electric and propane modes); however, the fridge compartment would not get cold. This replacement thermistor, which easily plugs into the connector inside the fridge, solved the problem. Btw, the picture included in Amazon's product listing is a poor image

Purchased this in the hopes it would fix our rv refrigerator. Matched perfectly and our refrigerator is back to working.

This is the exact part number and looks like the picture I attached. Mine also came with a new metal clip. When I purchased the item, the picture resembled nothing like the thermistor, but took a gamble. Glad I did and fixed my trailer fridge issue.

Less than 5 minute install. Improved my cooling, my RV was only 1.5 years old but the refrigerator is used continuously all summer. I think these sensors need to be replaced regularly if your useing the unit constantly like me.

Thermisters arrived stuck in the open position. Would not change resistance with temperature. The only reading we ever got was overload on the meter. We then tested the meter on a known resister and it worked perfectly. Not happy with this product; we will be returning the two we bought.

Getting ready for a trip & realized the Refrigerator in our travel trailer wasn’t cooling, how’ve the freezer was working well.Did an internet search and videos abound showing how to test this part.Because we needed to get on the road, I ordered it utilizing Amazon locker and was able to pick it up the next day. Problem solved!
