The Half Moon Switch offers 3 speed settings (slow, stop, and fast) and is easily attached without the use of any tools at various locations along the left side of the lower manual. Available for the C1 Combo Organ only.

Thought I had an issue with the switch. Took it to my music instrument electronics guru. He looked at it and said, "That looks identical to a 3-Way Fender Stratocastor switch!" He opened a bin, pulled one out and sure enough ... identical. The only different ... the switch cost $20.00. Of course, this is without the housing. I liked the idea of adding this to my Elecctro 6D so I could keep my eyes off the keyboard (and avoid finding the foot switch on the floor) while changing rotor speed. But in a church setting, flicking the switch was just too loud during quiet portions of the service. A secondary issue was that after screwing this in to the underside of the keyboard, there was still discernible wobble which wouldn't be a show stopper but didn't present the solid Nord feel I otherwise appreciate. For those used to a half-moon switch on say a B3, or who play at higher stage volumes, these issues might be unimportant.

Like all things Nord, this half moon switch is fantastic and very solidly built. Attaching it to my Electro 6D was very quick and easy. Works perfectly.I was extremely impressed with the seller. They shipped the product immediately, and although it was shipped from Japan to Toronto, Canada it arrived very quickly. The seller took extra precautions in putting an additional layer of bubble wrap around the box. It arrived sealed in the original Nord box in mint condition. So impressed.I would definitely deal with the seller again in the future.I debated getting this Half Moon Switch for two years now. I’m glad I finally took the plunge. It’s expensive, but it’s so worth it. Coming from a Hammond background, I could never get used to foot switches or the panel switches. It might not be for everyone, but for me this has vastly improved my playing experience the the Nord.

I ordered this and hooked it up to my Nord Electro 5D. It works perfectly. However, the ad for this indicates that it is only for the C1. Not so! Any Nord with the proper mounting holes and firmware settings can use this. Also, it is true that it does what can be done on the keyboard itself but not anywhere near as easily. With the half moon switch you can go from slow to stop to fast with a simple flick of the switch. On the keyboard you have to mess with two switches. Very satisfied with this purchase.
