Great product, looks good on the truck. I use these for my receiver hitch to make it easier to hook trailer chains to the truck. I like these so much, I bought a set for the wives Jeep Wrangler!

I have a 2019 Ford F250 and getting trailer safety chains hooked up can be a easy or a pain depending on getting the hooks in just the right position. I bought these to help simplify that issue. I put the hooks on by myself. I did add some extra bevel to the pins with a bench grinder to make them a little easier to install. I am 59 and have arthritic hands and can save it was a struggle but I was able to do it without tossing my hammer across the yard. I have since used the shackles to pull my travel trailer more than 600 miles and had no issues with anything coming apart. Thankfully I have not had to see how they would function if I did have a coupler failure but I am confident they would do the job.

Some install tips would be great but I hope if you’re ordering these you already on a drift and a hammer. Have already impressed me with ease of use.

I like you can put the pieces together and have a strong chain after. I put 3 pieces back together and have pulled stumps and other tractors and ups and fedex trucks out of ditches.
