I bought this mattress, which was wrapped in a vacuum-sealed box, and after cutting the vacuum-sealed plastic, the mattress was ready in just a few hours! No smell, no smell, nothing! I'm very happy with it. The hardness is just right - not too soft and not too hard for me - providing the perfect balance of comfort and support. It was so good to get a good night's sleep and I woke up feeling refreshed and well rested. If you are looking for a comfortable and reliable quality mattress, I highly recommend this one. The mattress is very comfortable and soft.I used for couple weeks. It feels very good. My back is no pain with this mattress.The set up was very easy .I did have help because of king size.It was pretty much expanded a few hours after we unboxed it.There were no unpleasant smell.The price is very worthwhile for this mattress.

This bed LOOKS nice and comfy. However, it is not that firm. You sink a little as you lay down which is not comfortable at all. I would rather have something much firmer.

The 8" twin bed mattress is a spring filled mattress with a soft pillow topper. The mattress is good for our small child who recently graduated to a twin bed from a toddler bed. Good for a child's weight. When I lay on the bed at 200lbs, the mattress gives considerably, so would not recommend for a larger adult. Also, the mattress corners are not re-enforced, so you can't sit on the edge or corner of the bed without it giving.Mattress came shrink wrapped in a box and upon unrolling it and carefully cutting open the bag, it expanded almost immediately. Was a fun visual for the kids. No noticeable odor or smell. Allowed it to sit a day to fully expand but seems like it only took an hour or so.Standing up the mattress folds on itself, so would not recommend without proper support under the bed frame as you could start to see sagging.Overall, for the price this is a good mattress for a child under 100 lbs.
