I was so glad I researched repairing our RV shades vs purchasing new ones! This kit came in VERY handy, was simple to use and saved me lots of money! As you can see in the first pic, the shade on the right had snapped and wouldn’t stay up. We got this kit, watched a couple of YouTube videos, and fifteen minutes later we had a like new fixed shade, as you can see in the second pic (sorry I didn’t take a better one). The kit offers plenty of supplies to fix more than a couple of window shades, depending on the size of the window. A word of warning—the end caps on the window shades are VERY fragile (plastic) and can be a pain to remove without breaking them. You need these for the shades to work properly, so be very careful removing them. We ended up cracking one entirely. Luckily, we had some epoxy handy so we were able to put back together and snap back in place without further issues. Those YT videos really give you a nice step by step process and tools necessary to have before starting the repair. Would definitely purchase again, especially for the price.

I bought this kit hoping I could repair my day/night celluar blind. It worked! The tool in the kit to feed the strings was worth the money. There is enough string in the kit to do several blinds. I was hoping I could do this and it worked perfectly. It took some time but I could do the second blind in 1/2 the time. I also used a YouTube video to give me more than paper instuctions which was very helpful.

It took a while to restring the shade since it was our first time, there weren't any instructions with the kit but had everything needed. Easy to find instructions on the internet.

Ordered the wrong size first time so returned and ordered this smaller cord diameter. Instructions were great for the restring but no instructions for the cord holder but I’m assuming just common sense will prevail.

Replaced the old draw string on our motorhome window. Just follow the directions and/or look up UTUBE - it's not a hard job and saves a ton of money! To replace our large blind would have been over $200!

I was fearful of restringing my shade, but after I did it with this kit, I actually posted on my RV Facebook group about how easy it was to do. The tool you get in this kit is the reason why restringing the shade was so easy.
