Bought this as a Christmas gift for a co-worker along with a case and wall adaptor for her e-reader. I put it in for her. The DVD instructions were perfect and the enclosed tools made the job a snap. I was able to do it in no time at all and wrapped the whole thing up for Christmas. Highly recommended!

Das Kabel war viel zu lang, so dass man es nicht mehr vernünftig im Reader unterbringen kann ohne es abzuknicken oder ähnliches. De Weiteren war der Anschlussstecker so schlecht verabreitet das es unmöglich war diesen diesen in das Gegenstück zu bekommen.

Goods supplied as listed however several problems were encountered which could have caused major issues.1 Low quality star screwdriver damaged head on one screw requiring it to be drilled out this required an electric drill an some technical know-how.2 Battery connection fiddly to reconnect and eventually surface mount component broke loose - this cannot be refitted at home.3 Connections remade using fine soldering iron to hard wire onto board connections, not easy considering short leads on battery.Otherwise replacement restored e-reader functions.

I found this battery kit on Amazon and liked the look of it. The instructions are straightforward and the accompanying video extremely helpful. A little more emphasis on the fiddly bit of taking the edge piece off would probably be a bit more helpful as this was the most difficult part without damaging the clips that hold it in place. I am extremely satisfied with the battery as I now have a working reader again. I would recommend this to anyone who had the same problem of a totally dead machine. Thank you to NewPower99.
