It came on time and did the job for me,I bought this only for one pipe to thread so I don't know about its durability.

I bought this as the threads were stripped on the pipe end. There should be enough pipe to cut the bad threads off with a hacksaw. Place the tap on the end of the pipe. Use a big crescent wrench for leverage take your time to cut the threads. Go around a few times backing off and going forward it's gonna be like this til you get the tap down the pipe. After you get a few threads done take the tap off and lubricate the pipe I used Dawn dish soap straight on the pipe put the tap back on and work it til the tap clears the pipe. You will know the tap is tapered and tap it until the tap is flush with the pipe end. Done.

We used this die at a machine shop to clean up some steel threads and it did a fine job. Just make sure to use a good tapping oil. No issues with the product and it was many times cheaper than I could find this size thread die elsewhere. I can’t say how durable it would be long term but in our case it was great.
