Man this nugget icemaker is a game changer. It's pretty small. Which we wanted. And looks great. Sort of pricey but not really compared to others. The ice capacity is limited. But so far it has been pretty durable and ice is made pretty quick. So I think that makes up for the limited capacity.The noise isn't too loud. I mean it's not completely quite at all.

Just purchased this and will have to return! I believe I received a defective machine unfortunately! Followed all directions for set up to a T, yet when plugged in, let run for over an hour with still no production.UPDATE: Amazon customer service replaced the machine, the new one is working great! Ice is perfect. Machine is not loud at all, but does have a sound. Overall amazing!

Ice maker works great, no trouble this far. Easy to clean. I do wish it was a bit bigger as it only makes about 3 cups of ice then stops until emptied or used.

After opening, you need to set it upright for at least 2 hours before you use it. After you’ve done that, you need to take the top and do a cleaning. You will need to drain the water from the plug on the bottom. This will take 3 rounds, maybe more to rid of all the cleaner. It’s advertised as a self cleaner, but you need to clean and descale as well. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to remove the top. Once I did that, it was easy. However, there are no directions explaining it and it seems like you’d break it by pulling it off of. Once clean, you make your ice. The pictures I posted shows the amount of ice I got in an hour and 20 minutes. If you are planning to use this for parties, I suggest you make some the night before to have on hand or you’ll surely run out, or be waiting awhile for it to refill. This is not a mini freezer like some think. Make your ice and transfer it to your freezer when done. It also makes very small pieces. This is what I wanted it for. Perfect size. Just be patient setting it up. You’ll love it.

Absolutely perfect for me! The ice is exactly how I like and expected it to be. It’s actually better than sonic ice. I recommend it100%. Some say it’s too small but it’s an individual preference. I had my 40oz cup filled in an hour!

I bought this product because I wanted filtered ice cubes. I was initially hesitant because of previous reviews citing noise and inability to break up cubes. Don’t listen to them! The ice maker does make a little noise when running, but it is less than both my dishwasher and washer/dryer. I put the ice cubes in the bin in the freezer. I can easily break them up. I love the nugget size of ice as well! I’m drinking so much more now that I can make ice cubes with bottled water! We live near numerous chicken farms and plants. Water is always getting contaminated. This ice maker has been a Godsend!!

Would have been 5 stars but it does make a noise when operating. This is common for most over counter ice makers, do not know if this one is louder than others, but just something to be aware of. Very easy to operate and recovers quickly when in use. I purchased one for myself in the summer and this one is for a Christmas gift.
