I ran a 4awg wire to this. 4 awg aGauge fits best you could use a smaller gauge wire if you want to depends on what type of system you are running.

I used just about every fuse and fuse relay on my solar regulators . my wires got hot and fuse even got hot at (different) sizes but these work very well no more hott wires or fuses it's a great product I'm happy after two years testing problem solved

bought this for my 8 awg amp install but the terminals are bigger than 8 awg, maybe 4 awg. the fuse size is correct (60A) for 8 awg but the terminals are too big. wanted this design since it was waterproof but had to buy the walmart 8 awg metra kit since that fuse holder has the correct teeminal size for 8 awg

Don’t lose a small rubber gasket make sure you assemble it correctly. I had to take it all apart when I forgot to put part on.
