I installed with some foam weatherstripping at the bottom because it was short by about 5 mm. The next day, I found that the screwholes don't line up exactly for my Skar 6.5 speakers, which are probably the most produced size and make of all aftermarket auto speakers. The wiring doesn't fit either. The negative side was smaller, and Skar's speaker connectors are the same size. I had to crimp my own connector to the wire. Finally, the whole thing popped out of the bottom before putting the panels back on the door. My solution to this was to use some weatherstripping adhesive to the back of the three places the bracket comes in contact with the car door. Overall, this product is the worst imaginable product ever made unless you are creative and motivated to makr it happen. Most people are not.

Description read for a 2015 Chevy tahoe and up, Will do the job but they are lower than than originals, the cable connectors dont match the truck. Is only Ok

Needed to upgrade the speakers in my wife’s 2006 HHR. These did the trick, as the opening in the door panel requires these adapters. Will do the rear doors next!
