This is a nice gift for a child but I thought the hook that came with it was junk. If I had known I would've bought a nicer hook. Otherwise it's an okay purchase.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. I knew she would like it, but wasn't expecting her to love it like she did! The colors are vibrant and the directions are easy to follow. She caught on quickly!It is a pillow. I am giving it 4 stars because it appears the only way to add stuffing is to open it at the seam. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if it were more of a cover.

I love butterfly motifs and use them frequently. For almost 40 years, I have had different sewing machines that could do machine embroidery and of all the possible designs that I could sew out, a small butterfly has been my favorite and I have used more than any other motif. So, I was happy to get a latch hook butterfly kit. I haven't started this kit yet as I am working on a 'sister' projerct - a heart. Eventually I will have 4 12" x 12" pieces that I want to sew together to make a small rug. This kit seems to be complete and has all required yarn, etc. It comes with a hook but I use my own as it fits my hand better. The design appears to be centered and painted on the canvas well.I appreciate the opportunity to try out this latch hook kit. Thank you.

It was something I really enjoyed doing so when I saw this, I had to order it. When it came, I went through everything, and all was there. The instructions were great. They were easy to follow, and I quickly found myself back in the groove. In no time I had a piece of art to put any place I saw fit.I highly recommend this for anyone that loves arts and crafts or to possibly enrich a youngster’s time. This kit comes with great instruction and everything you need to complete the project.

I have a young teen that loves to do Diamond paintings, but I tend to get her a lot of those. I really wanted something different that would keep her interest. This is perfect. It is similar to a diamond painting with the easy to follow instructions/guide. Honestly, it is simply yarn instead of the little diamond gems. The color blocks are simple enough that she did not get frustrated, which I was worried about as this was her first time with a latch hook kit. She loved the butterfly and all the colors. Would definitely recommend for a younger person or someone just trying latch hook for the first time.
