The pans are durable and nicely formed. Edges are smooth, cavities are uniform and coating is complete.Impressions:Very nice baking pans. They're steel so they're heavy enough for good heat conduction. Not cast iron heavy, but make of a good thick steel. The nonstick coating is nice-baked goods lift out cleanly. The pans are even and flat, not off-kilter or twisted or bent. Nicely made.The cavities are about the diameter of a cupcake which makes sense as the pan itself is the size of a 6 cupcake pan. The depth is proportional to the width.They're nice pans for baked treats. You could use them for the baking step of bagels or with a cake mix to have doughnut-shaped goodies. I may even use them for cornbread or even with bread dough just for something different.They're supposed to be dishwasher safe but I'll clean them by hand just to be on the safe side.

Current price: $ 20.99I chose the NutriChef brand because it advertised no yucky stuff for it's nonstick surface. For donut pans, I feel like this may be the best you can get. The info card advises that they can be washed in a dishwasher but that hand washing g is encouraged. Also, no harsh cleaners or soaps. I hand washed before use then made my "donuts" from a protein pancake mix and they turned out about as well as could be expected. As directed on the info card, I did not spray the pan before putting the batter in and baked. When they were done I did have to use a spoon to pry them out some but they came out nice and tidy. I hand washed the pans after. Overall I would recommend if you're okay with babying them a little. I suspect if they got scratched with a knife they would rust eventually.

Nutrichef is a great brand, and these donut pans are flawless. I made cherry almond donuts with a cherry lemon glaze, and they turned out amazing. I did grease the pan with an avocado oil spray, but I’m not sure it was needed. They didn’t stick to the pan at all, and fell out onto the cooling rack with ease - and my donuts were sooooo soft, so any sticking in the pan would have ruined them. The donuts tasted like donuts, and no chemically taste to them at all.Fyi, not a big deal, but these are definitely on the smaller side for American-sized donuts. I think they’re perfect, but don’t expect to make huge designer donuts with these pans.

Although I haven’t used these pans to make donuts yet, I’m so excited to have them! I’ve been craving donuts and have been wanting to try some healthier homemade recipes. As a family of seven, we make most of our meals from scratch and rarely buy snacks, so having a way to make homemade treats is a huge plus.I love that these pans are made from carbon steel instead of stainless steel. Carbon feels sturdier, and with all the concerns about toxins in cookware, I feel like it’s the safer option right now. The nonstick coating seems high quality, and I love that they’re oven-safe up to 450°F.I can’t wait to put them to use and start baking! These pans are great quality! They have a nice weight and the finish means you don’t have to bother with greasing or spraying because it’s no stick. Super easy to wash, just a quick soapy wipe and rinse! I used to work in a bakery and know that fresh donuts have the best taste and you’ll love sharing these with family and friends. I am very satisfied with these pans, they are sturdy and back evenly. Very easy to wash and clean after use too.They are also a good price for a 2 pan set.

This set of donut pans is very heavy duty, with thick carbon steel used for them. I really like carbon steel over aluminum for the more even baking you get, not to mention the durability, though with it you get the potential for rust. While these are said to be dishwasher safe, the directions recommend hand washing, which I always prefer for non-stick steel items so they don't get damaged or develop rust. The donut cavities are a little small, at 3 inches, compared to the other big American baking brand, but they're suitable for what I would call medium-sized donuts. These pans are perfect for a homemade baked donut recipe, as well as a cake or muffin mix as an alternative to a donut. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of these pans and I'm sure they'll last me a long time.
