I bought three hot plates online and two at local stores. All of them were horrible. I finally found one that works great. It has a lot of different temperature settings Cooks even even on low temperatures. Gives me a lot of choices and the 8-in heating coil gives me even heat throughout my pan even on my iron skillets. Highly remain recommend

NuWave has a stellar reputation with years of customer satisfaction and a solid product line. I wanted to try their induction cooker in my RV to supplement my microwave. I needed a low energy item with quick and easily adjustable temperatures.Make sure you buy a model that will best fit the base on your metal pots and pans. For a single cooktop the 8" metallic cooking surface was perfect for me. I did need to buy a couple pots/pans with full magnetic metal bottoms. That is required.NuWave offers an easy to read, quick-use sheet, a great warranty and stellar customer service. I highly recommend their product line. They do not disappoint!

Setting this up is a breeze, I'm pretty sure the build quality will last me a while. It literally cuts my cooking time in half. It's a great value for your money.

Like the title says...hot. The sear setting works almost too well and I love that. More is better than not enough. I also like that if you try to use a non-induction pot/pan, it beeps and wont run. There are 6 presets but you can adjust to whatever temp you like up to the max 550°. It heats remarkably faster than my electric range "super" burner and cleanup is quick and easy as well.

I absolutely love this induction plate. My previous one broke and I don't use my RV stove, so this helps. It fires up quickly and is safe. You need cooking pots and pans that work with it, but I have those.

It is only good for boiling water maybe. Temperature varied a great deal, way too much for cooking. Bad thermostat. That seems to be the problem with all these budget induction cooktops and stoves.

I have been using this stove top now for 6 months and I love it. I didn't know it was refurbished though when I bought it otherwise, I would have spent the extra money and bought new. Still, I am extremely happy with it. My buckwheat comes out perfect now. I can add 3 oz of buckwheat into 12 oz of water and set on 210 degrees for 21 minutes and it comes out perfect. You can't do that with a standard cooktop.

I received my Nuwave induction cooktop on time and undamaged. Given the mixed reviews on this refurbished product, I felt like I was taking a chance. However, so far I'm impressed. I've been using induction cooktops for several years now but I'm enjoying being able to set the watts used and the fine temperature control. I also like the dimpled surface of the cooktop making it a little less slippery than others I have used. It cooks a little slower than my last unit which was rated at 1800 watts, but I'd rather have the flexibility of lower temperatures for simmering and melting butter without burning it. At this point, I'm a happy customer.

Actualización: después de sólo un año, se descompuso el botón de prender. Opino yo que un botón asà deberÃa durar más que un año.Un buen producto. Agradezco mucho el control preciso de temperatura. También el calor es más consistente. No haze este ciclando prender-apagar-prender-apagar-etc.
