Q: What is Mason line?
A: Mason's line, also called a Mason's twine, is used to create straight lines and a level surface. It is needed when laying out posts, patios, footings and more. A mason's line is necessary when doing these projects because you will not have to pick up the level so many times.

I used this to make a Florida weave for my tomato plants. It is strong and easy to use. It has so far held up to some super strong winds and rain. The green color blends in nicely.

I've been using in my garden in place of twine that wasn't holding up. My tomato supports are on their second summer after being left in place over winter. Definitely good quality string, holds up outdoors.
