These feel a lot more like ice skates compared to normal inline skates. They definitely take some time to get used to. I would recommend it for anyone whose trying to do off ice training, but for skating around town I’d suggest normal inline skates. The rocker will make you lose energy going into your stride so it’s definitely a workout

These fit well and are very comparable to my ice hockey skates. I have been able to train at home away from the rink and the extra 'ice' time has really helped improve my game. These have a really smooth ice skate like feel due to the rocking mechanism design and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Aside from the price, and if you’re cool with a pretty heavy boot then these are definitely a good option. Don’t expect to skate around like someone with dedicated ultra light roller hockey blades, but if you’re not a complete plug then you’ll figure these out. No one likes roller hockey dudes anyway. Go with these and work on your skating.

I purchased my mars blades all excited based on the hype.I’ve been playing hockey for 35 years. Put the skates on and went three feet and fell on my ass. The rocker thing is very unusual. Very unstable and feels weird.Having spend so much money I figured I would just cut my losses and return the skates. The customer service people at marsblades could not have been worse (Alex). Totally jerk, he went on about how I bought from the circular store and they didn’t accept returns. He told me to sell them on facebook. Or return them to marsblades for pennies on the dollar.Ended up bringing them to a pro shop to get them molded (they were super uncomfortable). The guy at the shop said the blades were super loose. Thanks marsblades for shipping me skates there were not set up correctly and I fell.I basically have 20 minutes on these wildly over priced pieces of crap.Go to play it again sports and buy a used pair of roller blades.Marsblades stinks!!
