This is great on a hot, muggy day! The water sprays out perfectly and the fan makes the water into a mist. It feels wonderful! The fan itself is very soft plastic. Which is good if you touch your face by accident with it while it’s moving, it doesn’t hurt or cut into your skin. And it holds a lot of water. A quart, give or take?It stands about a foot tall and there’s a carrying handle on the top. I got the purple and it’s a pretty color. The only thing I don’t like about it is that although the bottom has a softer plastic “cup†on it, the rest of the bottle is a harder plastic. More breakable it seems to me. The price was decent.

I used this misting fan this past weekend and let me tell you, it did it's job in keeping me fresh while camping. California heat is no joke and this little fan worked great.

These are the best portable little fans to take outside in the heat…The water comes out in a very fine mist and the battery operated fan gives you extra coolness on a hot summer day…!!!ðŸ‘HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDðŸ‘

I purchased another brand 1st and sent it back. The one I returned wasn't as comfortable to hold and carry plus it ran on a weird battery that I think would be hard to find. This uses regular AA batteries (it comes with batteries installed) and I find it a comfortable shape to hold and spritz myself. Made for carrying not table top use which is what I needed. I didn't give it a higher rating just because I haven't really used it yet so I can't really comment on the battery life or sturdiness. It is plastic and if you drop it on a hard surface it probably would break but a sturdier material would probably make it uncomfortably heavy to carry and hold.

We used the fan at Universal Studios in Florida and it was hot! They were $20 a piece there as opposed to the $6 or $7 from Amazon. They got dropped a few times but always worked afterwards. Highly recommend.

Seems fairly sturdy and has been a big asset to a day at the beach

We bought 2 of these fans for our trip to Disney World. On our first day in the hot, humid theme park, the grey one began to leak water out of the base, and the purple one had little-to-no airflow. The airflow on the grey one was “ok†in the FL heat. The spray trigger worked well on both fans, and the AA batteries lasted about 10 hours. The fan is made of a thick, sturdy plastic, but it’s lightweight.

It'll be great when the hot August days arrive. You can put ice cubes in it to keep the water cold. The mist is not super fine which is good, it provides better cooling than if it had too fine a mist.

As long as you don't mind duct taping the battery flap/door down, this is a great little fan/mister. It's easy to use, extremely pleasant mist in hot weather, very straightforward little device. Only issue (like others said), is that the batteries fall out ALL the time unless you tape it shut.

This is the second one of these I’ve owned and they are junk. This one stopped spraying after first day of use!
