This vest looks and feels great. It's super lightweight and it buckles and adjusts perfectly. I've only used it once so far while river kayaking, and I didn't test it in the water, but I can't imagine it wouldn't get the job done if needed. I normally wear large or extra-large in tops, and I opted to go by previous reviews that it might run tight if I got the large. I don't know if that would have been the case if I got the large, but the extra-large is a little roomier than I would have liked for my fit. I would imagine it fits true to size.

I bought this to wear when riding jet skis. It's held up for several years now and still fits well. It has three buckles that are each adjustable. I weigh 230lbs and it holds me up no problem. The arm holes are large so it's easy to put on but still small enough it doesn't try to come off. The black and gray looks good and I'll often wear it when floating around in the river.

I read the reviews, and while most suggested getting a size bigger than you think you need, some said it was too big(?). I don't know, this is what is frustrating about online reviews, the opposing advice.Anyway, I opted for my usual XL, and at 5'9" and 240 lbs I'm not athletic but also not morbidly obese, the vest itself seemed to fit great as I put it on, but the buckles were too short. Extended all the way out, this vest was still very snug, almost uncomfortably so, for my body size. Don't get me wrong, I forgot all about it as we were zooming across the water at 40mph having a blast, but when putting it on and taking it off, it's easy to notice it's a touch uncomfortable. I would also echo the others and suggest getting 1 size bigger than you think you need, unless you plan to diet soon, for what it's worth.

Purchased this as it was a "necessity" to meet safety requirements on our new boat. While I haven't really worn it much at all aside from test-fitting it, the size was spot-on as expected and I fully believe that, if the occasion and need were ever to arise, I would definitely float while wearing this, and be comfortable while doing so. The price was right and I have no complaints. It's a sleek black unit and meets the requirements for boating safety.

These are very good vests. Well made. Tends to float you onto your back if you tilt your head back. Can float on front and swim as the arms are not impeded by the vest. Very happy.

Funciona super bien, yo compre 3,y en todos los casos pedimos una talla mayor a la que usamos en una camiseta, los broches son de muy buena calidad, los usamos en salto de cascadas y no se abrieron.
