OAKI Snow Suit Kids - Toddler Snowsuit - One Piece Rain/Snow Jacket/Pant for Girls & Boys

UPDATE- We have had these for 4 winters, going into our 5th, and they are still like new! My oldest upgraded to a larger size and the others have been passed down to siblings. We still love them the most. My kids attend a Waldorf school and spend a great majority of their time outside. These suits keep them warm and dry, and fellow classmates and teachers ask for the brand because they want one too!! I will be buying a pink one for my youngest daughter this year!Original post-My oldest son will be 7 years old in a month and a half. He is starting skiing this year and I really wanted a snowsuit to prevent snow going up his back. I found this Oaki one and I am so glad they just came out with a suit since they are such a great brand. I measured my son and picked the 6/7 for him. Hes 50lbs and it fits great. He said it is "the warmest most comfortable winter clothes hes ever had!"With the amazon picture I was a little nervous of it being too bulky and having a Christmas Story bundled up moment but when it arrived the sizing proved to be more slender so that was great! The outer material, all seams, and all zippers are definitely waterproof- nothing like the suits I wore as a child! He will be able to wear this the entire day and still be dry. I was plesantly surprised by the softness of the outside. *We need some mittens in this material!*We were very happy to find the hood buttons on and off easily since my son was wearing his helmet it didn't get in the way. This will be great for his ski helmet, snowmobiling, or riding the fourwheeler more if the snow continues to hold off.Another great feature is the inside of the jacket is a great gingham material so its soft and looks nice, and at the waist it changes to your standard snowpants material so you can slip on your suit over pants and the material wont catch and leave your child with their jeans up to their knees.This suit also features the foot elastic to hold them down but my oldest doesnt care for these and they actually can be taken off completely with a button on each side. I cant forget to mention the loop at the neck for hanging- so important for all winter clothes to make sure they are dry for the next playtime! Its obvious a lot of thought was put into the design.My childs only complaint was a funny factory smell on the inside of it, but after airing it out the smell is gone and he hasnt complained of that since.I also purchased a second one for my 3 year old. He was being stubborn and didn't want to come outside so I ended up putting my 18month old son in it- and it actually worked out haha. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying the wrong size if your in a pinch know that the wrists and ankles have a great cinch so they can hold on all sized wrists and ankles comfortably. My youngest didn't mind the suit in the least so I hope to purchase him one also!For those of you who are thinking about buying these but worried with the lack of reviews I am here to tell you honestly- buy this one! Its great! You won't be sorry and your child won't be wet and cold after 20 minutes outside!Now I just have to wait for some more snow in our area and get some great cozy outdoor playtime and great pictures in these beautiful well made suits!

Like a wearable weatherproof duvet cover. Easy to move in, 100% waterproof without stiff or plastic-like feel, and equipped with thoughtful features like waterproof/sealed zippers and thumb holes. Worth the money for kids who are outside for extended periods of time or hitting the slopes!

Superior quality product. My grandson is in forest school and this keeps him warm outdoors all day!

This snow suit is worth every penny! My child attends a Nature pre-school. The school highly suggest student wear a Oaki rain suit to try to keep dry. We have been wearing Oaki brand rain suit, boots , gloves, for 3 years now. I wanted to look in to snow suit because a traditional snow suit doesn’t work in slush and rain. Living in Michigan we get crazy weather. So I was wearing a Oaki rain suit OVER his snow suit! It was TOO much work and layer taking on and off. So I found this suit and WOW his teachers and other parents are impressed with how warm and how well it keeps him dry! Great material inside and out. It washes well too.One thing I wish Oaki would design is some seamless way to connect boots to this suit! The only water that seeps in if ever is around the ankle. This is in extreme situations wear my son adventures in to a thawed puddles. And jumps around. But if Oaki could make a boot that somehow connects with a water tight seal to this suit, that would take it to the next level of awesome. Regardless this is a impressive suit! I want one for my self!

Runs really big. She is in 4 or 5 T clothes but it actually fits her cousin who is 8 better. But she will grow into it. Just a little hard to walk around in now. She says it’s very warm 🤪

We ordered two and are thinking about ordering more. So warm and waterproof. I am worried that it will rip because the material is so soft (like rubbery) but I just plan on patching it with a pool patch if that happens. I might reinforce the knees in the future. Sellers are easy to work with.

Why is this suit so very big? Had to return.

Like the waterproof shell for wet ice fishing conditions. The cotton liner quality is disappointing for warmth in AK with a the shell not breathing very well. Will only be used for shoulder seasons by my toddler unfortunately.
