I have a pontoon boat that we need board behind. We used to Tryon create a centerline with a single rope, but we're constantly having close calls with a line tangling with the prop/driveshaft. This is the only way to go! It makes everything so much easier and less stressful.

This worked well to latch behind our pontoon boat and pull a large tube from the center. Unclear how it will last but the nylon appears to be sturdy. For a pontoon, be sure you have metal connectors such as you'd use to connect an anchor to its rode. The metal spring clips on this do not fit over typical pontoon boat lifting rings. With the anchor rings, it clips securely perfectly.

Rope started to shred within first five minutes of use. Poor design and does not go through pulley smoth it binds.

Our pontoon doesnt have a tow bar (and the manufacturer recommends against using one for towing a big float) so we got these to hook onto the deck. They work great, stay out of the way of the motor and are super easy to get on and off.

A good simple option to pull tubes behind my pontoon. The end floats to keep this out of the way of the engine. I did add D-rings to my pontoon to make install faster.

Quick Review:This works great for towing a tube behind my Sea-Doo.The 16 foot length is perfect for that use IMO.It is a 16 strand braid, made of Poly-E, and provides 4700 pounds tensile force.Seems pretty durable and shows no signs of wear after the seasons use.Price is pretty decent (39 bucks at time of review) but there are a lot of options out there for tow ropes.

This rope is perfect for towing behind a boat, canoe, kayak, or any watercraft really.The rope itself is thick and superb quality, and hooked right up to large heavy duty clasps at each end.Honestly we used this to tow my boyfriends daughter in her floating boat with the kayaks, and it worked quite well. She felt like she was paddling, and we did all the work. But the rope held her boat in place and can't wait to use it on the boat next summer.
