I got married last weekend to my O-Cedar Spin Mop! I know I will never look at another mop again. This is the one for me. It is everything it is advertised to be & everything I hoped it would be. There is a water line inside the bucket so you can correctly figure out the amount of cleaner to add into the water, according to your cleaners' instructions. The mop handle extends & twists to hold in place. It is nice to be able to retract the handle when ready to store away. Nice sturdy handle on the bucket itself that has width to it so doesn't cut into your hand when you pick it up & the bucket isn't heavy when filled with water. The spinner works great. It spins the crap outta the mop head. I hold my fingers in an open circle around the handle while spinning. The mop heads are light weight but very durable microfiber that cleans my floors so well & they dry quickly when done. The microfiber is a great choice because it captures the dirt, but the dirt doesn't imbed itself into the fibers like a cotton mop head does. It easily spins out the dirt on the next rinse-'n-spin & allows the dirt to easily wash out in the washing machine as well (Air dry). O'Cedar got it figured out. I love the way it spins the water out and doesn’t saturate my floor. Dries fairly quick which is great with kids. Easy to put a little extra elbow grease into it if needed. The mop heads are durable and last awhile but it is nice to have some extra on hand.

I finished mopping for the first time with this mop and immediately got on to write a review about it. It’s amazing. We have a dachshund who does not like to go potty outdoors and uses puppy pads but often misses the pad. Before we used one of those Libman nitty gritty sponge mops and everytime we’d use it the smell of urine and dirty water lingered in the air and the water would pool up on the floor even after wringing it out multiple times. I’ve also had issues with improper mixture of water to solution with my previous mop and have slipped and fallen twice, badly bruising my ribs then my hip. Luckily I’m 25 y/o and didn’t break anything, but the spinner helps wring the mop out to keep the water to solution mixture even and fast drying. I will be using a second bucket as well, and read that a lot of people prefer this. It helps so you don’t have to change out the water and solution so much. I recommend doing so if you are cleaning up dog messes, have children, or just track in a lot of dirt in general. So in a separate bucket I put my clean water and Lysol floor cleaner, dipped the mop in that, then put the mop in the spinner and wrung it out, went over the floors, dipped it in the wrung out water, spinned again to get all the dirt and urine out, then dipped in cleaning solution and start the process over again. It sounds more complicated than it is, but it is the sure fire way to get the floors as clean as possible. I have hardwood floors but they have a sealant on them as I live in a “dog friendly†apartment complex, so my floors do not buckle with moisture, but rather hold excess moisture on top. This mop is genius and helps satisfy my need for clean floors even with a dog that pees all over the place.

This works well. The only problem is if you use your bare or socked feet, there is pain when pressing the pedal. Did that one time and now I wear shoes.
