Purchased two and both failed within a week of installation. Not only did they fail but Amazon says it is too late to return the defective items. Purchase OEM to replace this junk,

Fit and finish looked good and it was easily installed on my 4.3 L V6 Mercruiser but the pressure reading was completely wrong. Should be about 2 pounds at idle it was showing 40.6 !!! of coiurse soon after the water pressure fault alarm came back. I purchased the OEM part which admittedly is very expensive but it works and that is priceless. Good luck if it works for for but I recommend springing for the Quicksilver part.
