On my return flight home, I saw a passenger sitting across the aisle from me, using a portable stand for his phone while watching a movie. I thought that was a great idea. I purchased this stand and used it on my next trip. It was very convenient to have two hands free instead of using one hand holding the phone for hours to watch movies. It well build and compact to easily fit in my hand carry. At home, I use it to prop up the phone when reading emails and scrolling on social media. The bottom plate has a rubberized backing to prevent the stand from sliding. You can adjust the height and angle to accommodate your posture. I would recommend this stand.

I needed a stable cradle to hold my cell phone on the nightstand next to my bed. This one really does the trick, as it elevates my phone to the correct height for checking the time throughout the night, and to give me more room on the night stand. There are two very nice brackets to hold the phone in either and upright or a horizontal position, and it DOES NOT MOVE at all when it sits on a smooth surface!! The way it is made, you have a variety of positions and angles to put your phone in, so you can get it to sit at just the right height and angle. I had bought their larger 'riser' for a 13 inch iPad, and that one also is very high quality and makes it so we can use the iPad at just the right height so we don't have be bent over to read the screen. I highly recommend these products!

Really solid, simple, well made. It takes on almost no motion transfer when I'm typing on my laptop so I can have a meeting on my device on the stand and be fullscreen typing on my laptop at the same time. Could easily be used for reading, watching videos, whatever.
