Really happy with this podium. I like studying the Bible with several books open at once, and standing up while studying so I can move quickly from book to book. Some books are Bibles, while others are reference guides like the Strong’s concordance.I needed more standing-desk space for more open books, so I shopped online for podiums. This one really got my attention because of its immense book space, given the two extendable shelves. As you can see from my photos, you can fit 5 open Bibles on this podium at once. One is a bit overlapped by another, but there are small, large-print Bibles if you know what I mean, so that the width and height are small but the text is large. I my case I simply let the Bible I reference the least be overlapped by the one I use slightly more, and gave the greatest prominence of accessibility to the three Bibles I use the most.Anyway, a great podium for anyone reading or referencing multiple books at once, if they don’t mind standing. Great conservation of space. And even the small space it takes up can be freed by simply disengaging the locking levers on the casters and rolling the podium somewhere else.I also love that, at nearly 100 pounds, it’s study as all get out. With the casters locked, I can lean on it as I study, and my leaning doesn’t even make it wobble. I might consider purchasing a second one to hold more open books that I’m planning to buy.I won’t call the assembly easy — not unless you’re an expert, or assemble furniture on a regular basis. I spent half a day putting it together, and I am mechanically inclined.

I wouldn't consider these commercial grade, but what I would confidently say from experience is that for the price, these cannot be beat.This an Ikea style cam lock assemble yourself projector. There not much remarkable about the assembly, but being practical, you really should toss the provided caster kit, and buy a $25 2" swivel caster kit and bolt it on instead. It makes all the difference in the rolling and stability of the unit, and seriously adds another couple hundred dollars in perceived quality of the final product. Ive provided these to many customers and most assume these to be $750-$1000 units by making that small upgrade. Using the casters provided, the unit struggles to not tip when moving over commercial grade carpet, and even when the wheels are locked, it feels quite unstableOverall a great value, it is particle board all around with no real wood build or finish, it will take an a stage person an hour or two to assemble, and proper expectation should be this is not a $2,000 piece of furniture. With that all in mind, these are a fantastic value and if treated properly and gently, can provide years of service with daily usage in an office or education setting

This podium was a great purchase 8/21. It looked really nice, wasn't too difficult to assemble and moved around freely. Exactly 6 months into owning it, 1 wheel snapped off when rolling it about 10 feet across a room. Then, the second wheel snapped off. Nearly two years into owning it now, all of the wheels are busted and we've had to outfit it to fit on a furniture dolly because dragging it around a room now is splitting the "wood" on the bottom. What a bummer.

Looks great, assembled it and setit up in my office to create a classroom environment while I teach (multi-camera setup). The other reviews aren't lying when they say it's not that easy to move around on carpet though. Still it's very sturdy and the shelves hold all my instructional material, creating an office within my home office space. One little oddity with assembling one side but we used a hammer and made it work. Now my hubby is using it for his presentations too.

This is a nice podium but expensive. At least for MDF material. Not sure it is worth the nearly $400 I paid though. Does have nice features. I like the pullout drawer in the podium as well as the slide out drawer on the side. Makes it very handy to put a tablet, water or anything else you want out of the way.Side note: after spending an hour putting this together, I came across a damaged panel. I managed to get it together and thought it would be ok. But after it was all put together the damaged piece was very noticeable. I contacted the manufacturer and he apologized. He didn't have that panel in stock so he sent me an entirely new podium. Very impressive customer service.Would I recommend this podium? Probably not for the price I paid (391.00 with s/h). I would recommend it if you can get it for less than $300.
