Installed in Toro Dingo with Kohler gasoline engine. Came a day earlier than expected and was shipped via the United States Postal Service in a box that fit inside our large rural mailbox. Identical enough to the original starter motor to work fine.

After a bit of looking around I decided to purchase this starter to replace the original starter on my 2003 Craftsman tractor with a Kohler engine. The new starter came in a box that the wrapping tape broke on one side. Other than that it was well protected. I matched it up to the current starter and they looked identical except the solenoid mounted just a tad different, all the connection/bolt holes lined up. Installation was a snap, 10 minutes. Connected the batter and hit the key, it started like it was new. I checked out the data sheet that came with it and it looked like a real test not some of the ones you hear about that just say passed.I would highly recommend this starter again.If anything changes we will come back and update the reviewBryan Rocker
