After a month of turning the furnace on and off up here in Michigan our furnace fires right up every time we need heat! Very easy to install and at this price Ill be ordering another just for a spare. Great product and so far very reliable. Very very pleased.

works great.i would mention that the picture doesn't match the shipped product.The picture indicates a brass fixture(OEM upgraded?).However the part received is an exact match to the original(OEM no upgrade?)Accurate pictures is really the only way online shoppers can verify that the correct item was received.This is important to online shopping in general.

My Amana furnace would turn on then shut off after a minute and cycle that over and over. This happened last winter and I paid for an HVAC guy to come out to "service" it. I looked at him just clean this sensor and paid him hundreds! This past winter, the same thing started to happen on the coldest week of the year. I cleaned the part and it worked for a few days but then the issue came back. I bought this and replaced the old one with this one. So far I have not had any more issues with the furnace turning off. It taked about 10 minutes to open up the furnace, change the part and put it back together. Save yourself a lot of money if you are having issues like me and just replace this part. You can do the cleaning test first to make sure that is your problem. If it works, order this!

My flame sensor went out on a cold night. I had to call for an emergency servicecal. It wasn't cheap. All he did was clean the sensor. For $8.00 I'll keep a spare on hand.
