  • Cool Under Pressure: Performing a radiator coolant pressure test is vital if your vehicle is frequently overheating or unable to maintain its level of coolant fluid
  • Seal of Approval: A coolant sensor adapter ensures a trustworthy seal so you can quickly and confidently diagnose and locate leaks in your radiator parts and overall cooling system
  • For Use with Standard Testers: You can integrate this radiator hose adapter with any radiator pressure tester you prefer; Works with pressure testers with a universal fit type end
  • Fits a Variety of Vehicles: For use with 2002 to current Jaguar X vehicles; 1994 to 1998 Saab 900; 1999 to current Saab 9-3 and 9-5 models; Fits some Ford and Pontiac as well as Range Rover vehicles
  • Technical Specifications: This adapter cap has a 52 millimeter adapter opening and 3 millimeter thread size that ensures a continuous seal between the pressure tester pump and the radiator cap opening

The OEMTOOLS 27243R Radiator Adapter will give you the confidence to perform your own preventative maintenance on your vehicles’ cooling systems. This cooling system adapter is designed to connect a pressure tester to the radiator system of your Jaguar, Saab, Ford, Pontiac, or Range Rover vehicle. Without a complete seal on your radiator opening, it can be difficult to know if the results of your pressure tests are trustworthy. Using a radiator cap adapter with your auto coolant tester reinforces the integrity of the seal between your radiator cap and the pressure tester, so there will never be any doubt on the status of your car cooling system. This coolant pressure test adapter will deliver reliable results that can potentially save you time and money on car maintenance, and even prevent the need for future repairs. Seal the deal with the OEMTOOLS Radiator Pressure Tester Adapter.

Great price for this cooling system pressure tester adapter. It will connect your Stant or NAPA pressure tester to your BMW or Range Rover. Works great, looks to be well made, and gets the job done. You must do your own homework to see if it will fit your car.

I bought this to use on various Volvo products and it works exactly as it should. Apply a little lube to the O-ring, thread it onto the tank and pump it up with your pressure tester.

Well, if your looking for a Toyota adapter which Toyota? I can only assume this is for later models. My 1995 Camry was nothing like this adapter. There is also the multi vehicle adapter that is for Toyota but it doesn't say that before you purchase. I happened to buy that one too and it is on the package but still which Toyota?? Haven't tried that one yet but the Ford adapter did the trick!! So far this OEMTOOLS product seems pretty decent. All metal body construction, lifetime warranty, and replaceable parts, but still lifetime warranty.

This kit is decent and works acceptably for me on Chrysler, Nissan and Toyota radiators. If I had to do it again, I probably would have bought the Stant Cooling System Test Kit, mainly because it is built better and supported better by the manufacturer (it is rebuildable when the parts wear out, and parts are readily available). While the 27068 has expandable rubber plugs for radiator necks, the Stant kit requires you to purchase radiator neck adapters separately. Originally I thought the expandable rubber plugs were going to be a better, more cost effective solution than having to buy an adapter for each vehicle's cooling system. However, in practice the expandable rubber plugs tend to pop out of the radiator neck under pressure at times, sometimes with a startling POP. Over the course of using this tool, I found myself buying the dedicated Stant cooling system adapters for the vehicle makes I service most often, and using the expandable plugs for those that I only see once in a while. One important thing to note is that the expandable rubber plugs in the OEMTools 27068 kit only tests cooling systems but NOT radiator caps. To test caps you need to use dedicated radiator cap adapters. You can purchase radiator cap test adapters from Stant, these will fit and will work perfectly with the 27068. I purchased the Stant 12552 (domestic "A" size 3/4" deep caps, like the Mopar 52079880AA), Stant 12021 (Nissan), 12024 (Toyota) adapters and they all functioned flawlessly with my OEMTools 27068 tester. All in all the 27068 combined with the radiator cap adapters is a versatile tool that allows you to identify weak radiator caps as well as leaks in your radiator/cooling system. But if I knew then what I have learned through experience with this tool and described for you here, I would have bought the Stant pressure testing tool right up front instead.

What this product fails to inform you, unless I missed it somewhere, is that it only adapts to a Stant pressure tester or the like. It DOES NOT fit onto any of the Harbor Freight pressure kits; which is what I have.

The adapters sometimes don’t hold as well, and must be pre-tightened, then you have to find a way to keep it from turning and not tightening. I’d does however get the job done, I find myself having to double check that it’s tightened correctly, that’s the only issue. Otherwise I’d buy it again.

The pump has been good so far, seems to be good quality. The rubber adapters are not going to give you full coverage on all vehicles. I use this in conjunction with the OEM tools vacuum filler adapters and even with all the extra adapters you will still find some vehicles where you really just need the proper screw on adapter. It's a good tool, but it's not a universal solution.

Sending back for an exchange product, but so far I'm not impressed at all. Waited a month for this to arrive only to find that it's defective and leaking. @OEMtools - Do you not quality control your products? This is the second product from this manufacturer that has been a disappointment. Hopefully the replacement is better. I will update the review accordingly.

Professionals beware. This product leaked straight out of the box, and I had to fiddle with it for awhile to find the source. The fix was simple - tighten up the connection above the relief valve, but this isn't the consumers responsibility - Time is money in this profession. The materials used are decent, and the product has a feel of quality, and it comes in a nice blow molded case, but OEM Tools could really benefit from a quality control department, as it is simple things like this that will keep me from being a return customer.
