As an artist, I've collected a number of sketchbooks over the years of various sizes, and figuring out how to best store them without letting them collect dust, water damage, or bug infestations has been a lifelong struggle. Mostly because I've simply spent my time not wanting to deal with it.Finally, I decided I'd had it with putting these old and sloppy spirals on my shelves and bought this guy. It has enough clearance for 12 inch tall sketchbooks, meaning every single one I own, no matter how mismatched, fit. I immediately regretted not buying two, because I underestimated what 30 years of sketchbooks looked like.I don't think the full listed price of $32 is worth it, since it's ultimately just fairly hardy plastic. I pay $16 for this one, and $21 for the second I just ordered because the price changed, so if you see it for lower, buy more than you think you need, because you'll always be collecting papers and things.It becomes totally flat on top when the handle is down, which will allow for stacking, and the tray on top could be handy for small things like paper clips and staples. In my case, the shipping label was in there, which meant I didn't have the sticker issue some folks have had.All in all: perfect, a little pricey, and would have loved if it came in pink, otherwise, no complaints!

This is a nice, sturdy file holder. Perfect size and great value for the price. Stores nicely in a closet.

The inside dimensions are smaller. A scant 12 inches on the longest dimension. It is a fine hanging file, but if dimensions matter, skip this item.

This is a really great size, it holds more than you think.Because of the size, you can put it anywhere, it doesn’t take up a lot of room.Very solid on the outside and inside, with a handle for caring, a locking mechanism to keep the case closed, an extra space on top with a clear lid that allows you to hold different items you need (paper clips, staple removers, etc.)

These are ok. The size is good and the handle seems fine for carrying. They do hold quite a bit of folders and paper. The plastic is thin and the latches aren’t great for closing but honestly just too much trouble to send back so they’ll do.

I LOVE this file box and have bought over and over again.. Small, sturdy, easy to get in and out of with clasp and little plastic top for pencils or pens or whatever. I have organized my sister and mom (very spry 96) in one of these boxes for their monthly finances and yearly storage and they love it. May seem a little pricey for a small, plastic container but to me worth every dime.
