It was smaller than I expected, but it works. I noticed the pad was coming off of the grip part but I took it off and repositioned it and put it back up. So it's all good.

Just what I needed for the office to keep the light off my computer screen.

This has a wide clamp for placement, unfortunately, it wasn't wide enough for my cubical wall. Half of our office has shorter/thinner walls it would work on, but the taller walls are thicker. I got it to fit after taking the black grip pieces off of the clamp. I wish you could extend one of the adjustment bars. You can tilt it in directions, but the placement is limited. I have it blocking about half of a light because I can't bring the panel towards me a few inches.

I get migraines. Fluorescent lighting makes it worse. Some genius decided the office I work in would use reflectors instead of diffusers. Courtesy of some amazing luck, I sit in a spot that has light being blasted straight into my eyes from the reflectors. This shade allows me to block that direct blast of light. It's not big but it is big enough to block the direct light. The stand is about a foot long at max and arrives fully assembled. The shade itself is reversible (one side black, one white) with one nut. The price is not bad (currently $28). My biggest issue is the clamp. The rubber grippy on the clamp is not well attached and keeps sliding off. Also, the clamp only accounts for solid surfaces to clamp onto. If the clamp were just a bit deeper, it'd also be compatible with common office metal shelves (which have a thicker lip that then steps down to just the thickness of the metal). Overall, it's handy and unobtrusive and I can easily recommend it.

This shade is well-constructed and seems quite sturdy. With loosening of the knob, you can move it in any and all directions to get it where you need it to be. The clamp works well for the ~1 inch tops and sides of my office desk. It is as described, but is honestly far too small to achieve meaningful shade from overhead lights. Might attach something to this shade to increase its size.

This shade is as described, but it feels smaller than it looks. It is not very convenient to adjust unless it is set up in front of you within arms' length. Not only do I wish the shade were a bit bigger, but I wish the arm extended more as well. As it is currently, if you straighten one joint, then you can't straighten any of the other joints at the same time, so that limits how high the shade can be extended.I tried to tighten the clamp onto a round pole about 1" in diameter. It held for a few hours before slipping backward overnight, so this is not good at securing to round pipes as is claimed in the product description.

I had my doubts about this product. The "Engineered Wood" is actually firm yet light weight with black on one side and white on the other. The clamp turned out to be surprisingly well made and includes rubber "feet" to protect the surface. The locking mechanism is not a Noga, but it works fine to hold the shade in place.Pay attention to the dimensions - some are saying it's too short/small however it was fine for my purpose of blocking glare on my screen coming from the window behind my desk.

The one photo does give accurate dimensions, about 16", but I was expecting bigger. Depending on your use case it might be useless. This will block out a specific light, or maybe glare from a certain angle, but don't expect it to give you shade or privacy.Construction is okay. I'm a photographer and most of the hardware appears to be cheap repurposed photo gear.

Absolute garbage. You’d think the mark up of 70$ would get you something decent. Its a tiny flimsy little cardboard light blocker. The joints can even hold its own weight and the rubber on the clasp is barely attached. Not worth 5$ let alone 70$.
