My mom gave me an old filing cabinet and when I finally got around to organizing myself, I realized it was a legal sized cabinet and not letter sized, which is what all my files were. After a quick Amazon browse, I found these. It looks so complicated, with the metal pieces and the screws, but I tell you, once it’s in front of you, it’s as simple as sliding pieces into a slot and tightening a screw. The only issue I had was I needed to shorten the bars (it comes with scored break spots) but I just wasn’t strong enough to snap it, so I had to get help. Besides that, it’s a one person set up. Some adjustments were needed to make it fit just right but it fits really well in my filing cabinet now. Now to get all my files organized…..

These were about 6 inches too long for my file cabinet, but I just removed the extra length and they work just fine. They are well made and easy to assemble and install. Can’t go wrong here.

The assembly process can be a little frustrating if you don't have an open table to work with or have a flathead screw driver handy. Make sure when you are putting these together that the word "up" is actually in a readable position. Got 4 of the 6 ordered put together and started putting files on them and they collapsed. Once I reread the instructions and corrected the problem they work great! Make sure you measure the file drawer so you order the right size. Mine are about 6 inches too short to fit the length of my drawer but that's my fault not the product.

These work as they should but they are pretty flimsy but I’m happy with them since they’re in a different position than how they were intended. They are folded and you unfold them to make them the length long length I need also. Works for me. I just took out some papers .

Fits perfectly in my cabinets, they seem to be standard size so they should fit in most filing cabinets.In my cabinets the length of this product was a bit too long where my cabinet would not close all the way, but all I had to do was cut only an inch off the ends of this frame and it fit perfectly, so it was an easy fix.

These are a little tricky to set up but once you got them together they do the job just right! I bet these would be a lot easier to put together if you had two people you just kind of have to balance the parts and screw it together at the same time.
