The tough and smart exercise pad used in many drumko marching bands in the U.S.A. This hands-on pad reproduces the unique feel of Marching's high-tension rebound.
It is made of 2 layers of striking surface made of special material embossing onto a layer of mylar resin. The hard touch and clear chip sound gives you a realistic experience while practicing on a musical instrument.
The special processing on the surface gives the same grip as the drum head, so you can practice a variety of techniques such as backsticking.

My son asked for one of these for Christmas as it was very popular with his drumline friends. He is constantly practicing on it and I have yet to notice any wear and tear. Very durable and the sound coming from it is good. It's quieter than his marching snare so that's a huge positive in our house.

Purchased for my very serious middle school honors band percussionist, a birthday gift. This was his only gift request. He researched it himself after it was recommended by his percussion teacher (a Boston Crusaders staff member). Kid takes it everywhere, including when we travel out of state. He sat outside and drummed his Texas heart out in Indiana snow. Be warned, there’s something in the adhesive of the rainbow drum pad sticker that airport security screenings equipment does not like! We were pulled aside for swabbing and extra screening when flying back from a marching band competition with it. Who knows.

Purchased for marching season. Love the feel of the top pad. It comes with a replacement center sticker if it goes bad as well. The underside material padding is not so silent but is passable for a more quiet practice.
