Have a 1/16 scale buggy and it has 12mm hex drive wheel hubs with pins just like this. I swapped out the stock plastic ones with these on the last couple of wheel swaps and they are solid. I did use the actual wheel nut that came with the car as it has a shoulder on it and I didn't use the nuts and washers in the kit. The pins are great and the hex wheel only has one cutout for the pin, on one side.Solid buy - would do again!
