These are made from high quality plastic and have a nice grippy texture/finish. There are a few different grip types, as pictured, but the hole spacing is all the same. No parts were missing. All the hardware is really heavy duty and easy to use (once you get the hang of the t-nuts). No worries about reaming out the hex holes - they're deeply recessed and fit snugly. Really good overall build quality.I bought a set of these to make a climbing wall for our outdoor play structure - the kids love climbing and this gives them some challenging variety. I wound up only using 10 of them - saving the rest for elsewhere or on a different project.Small tip: if you're planning on spanning a member between the two holes, remember that you need space for the nuts.

Attached to a piece of 3/4 inch plywood. We used a drill to drill the holes and also to attached the bolt and prong/nut. The prong did torque down well and pretty flush to the back of the plywood. They are very sturdy. I’m 180lbs and I climbed on it, didn’t have any give to it at all. Overall, very satisfied with the product and the price.

This was a fun addition to our playroom! Our kids climb up all day long. I spray painted them since I didn’t like the primary colors, and they seem to be holding up okay. It was pretty simple to install, just took some time.We used 3/4 in plywood, drilled into 3 2x4s which are drilled into the studs. I don’t remember the drill bit size we ended up using to predrill the holes. It was bigger than 1/4 and smaller than 1/2.Have absolutely no issue with 200lbs climbing up. Very strong and sturdy. They holds are pretty uncomfortable to climb on. It’s a very hard, firm plastic unlike regular rock wall holds. It bothers us big-footed adults, but the kids don’t have any complaints. They are up all day long!

I rated it 5-Star so that speaks for itself. The Grips are as advertised. They've been outside in the sunlight for 1 summer so far and haven't faded. They are sturdy. The construction note relates to how far the bolts stick out the back side of the Tee-Nuts. If you attach these to standard 2x lumber (1.5" thick), the bolts stick out through the back side of the tee nut long enough that a kid could bump into the protruding end of the bolt. I ended up buying shorter bolts because my kids play against the backside of their climbing wall.
