I needed to extend some feeder wires to my barn after reconstruction. These made it easy to extend #2 feeder wires. There is plenty of depth to get a good connection and not have any copper hanging out. Just be sure to keep in mind that you need to install the J-Box before putting these together, otherwise you have to take them apart to get the J-Box onto the wires, such a stupid mistake. As I said they work as needed.

As expected. Easy installation. The only negative would be that the caps come off very easily, but I will tape them for safety purposes.

This item is pretty much as advertised and meets my needs. One thing that I don't think is in the listing is that it has some sort of lubricant in the holes where the wire goes, I think to minimize corrosion. What I don't know is whether that is made for aluminum wires -- I need to connect aluminum to copper so I need the special aluminum anti-corrosion stuff on that end.
