I needed these to secure a glass retaining ring for a clockface. One size was too small, the next size was slightly oversize until I smashed them a bit with my Leatherman. That got them to hold the studs tight.

I've used this kind of thing in the past and they are pretty difficult to remove which is what I wanted in this case. Had to replace a garage door emergency cable release with lock and the previously drilled holes were very close to track hardware and nuts bolts wee bigger making it impossible to start the left one shown. Wedged it into slight gap then smacked it in place with a flat blade while holding from other side and mounted quite tight. High quality spring steel just mind the sizes when you order.
