They work as described. It did well sharpening my chain. I was a little disappointed how much it wore down after just one use. Maybe one of the other 3 stones will be better next time. I spent about 3 times more on another brand but I used it many times before I noticed it wearing down. I'll probably go back to the more expensive ones next time.

Save your money and buy a file. Broke 2 on the first chain. They don't really cut well and took longer than a file.

I would probably rate this 3.5 - 4 stars but they don’t seem to last very long before breaking off. I use them in my chainsaw sharpener so maybe they weren’t designed for that purpose but I still feel like they are a little soft.

I live in Minnesota and heat with wood. A few years ago I got in the habit of touching up my chain every time I filled the saw with gas. Now I have a cordless Dremel which makes it even easier. It doesn't take long because the teeth never get bad enough to require more than a just a quick in and out each. These stones cut quickly without burning, (probably because I don't wait till the teeth are shot). Me and my Huski are like Kylo ren on crack.
